Fabulous Location
I’ve just stayed here with family for a 5 day break, it was just absolutely fantastic, the location is fabulous right in the heart of the village, Cross Cottage is beautiful, lots of space for 6 people, kitchen well equipped, bedrooms and shower rooms very tastefully decorated, we loved it, came home yesterday and have booked again for the summer.

I can't say enough good things about our stay here over Christmas! Everything about the place is jus
I can't say enough good things about our stay here over Christmas! Everything about the place is just wonderful and there's a real attention to detail which makes all the difference. Kitchen: Virtually everything you might think of is provided (and quite a few things you probably won't think of too!) The kitchen is very modern and more than coped with Christmas dinner preparations. The steam oven in particular was a very useful addition. There are plenty of cups, plates etc and a few useful gadgets in there too; a slow cooker and a deep fat frier to mention a couple. The ability to get instant boiling water straight from the tap was very handy. Lounge: The fire is just perfect and a generous supply of logs was provided, along with firelighters to get it going. The dining table comfortably sat 6 of us. The TV in the lounge is enormous and got a lot of use over the course of our stay. The decor is thoughtful and tastefully done. Because it was Christmas, the landlord put up some lovely decorations, including a rather lovely Christmas Tree. Bedrooms: The 3 bedrooms will all comfortably sleep 2 people. In our case, the second-largest bedroom was set up to accommodate two separate single beds, with the smallest bedroom and the master bedroom containing a double bed each. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding was clean and fresh. All the bedrooms have some wardrobe space (the master bedroom has a lot more than the others). Bathrooms: Clean and comfortable. The master bedroom has an ensuite, with the rest of the place sharing a bathroom. Plenty of towels were provided, along with shower gel, shampoo, and soap. Local area: Haworth is a beautiful place with a lot of character. The high street has lots of interesting shops and pubs/restaurants; there are plenty of options if you want eat out and a few places that do takeaways too. The surrounding countryside is breathtaking and there are plenty of walking routes in the area. General comments: There are lots of little things that we really enjoyed. The welcome hamper was a very nice touch. The heated area for hanging coats is fantastic. There was a little bottle of milk in the fridge when we arrived which made the very much needed first round of teas possible on arrival! We saw the landlords as we were leaving and they are just lovely people with a real passion for what they do. You can feel the love and positivity they have put into the place and it makes for a really pleasant experience. On behalf of all the family, thank you :)
