Varied walks can be enjoyed direct from the door, with the surrounding countryside adjoining the 400 acre estate of National Trust’s Hardcastle Crags. The beautiful wooded valleys with ravines, streams and waterfalls are rich in wildlife and contain over 25 miles of footpaths. There are also links to both the Pennine Way and Calderdale Way providing simply endless opportunities.
Further afield, guests will find that this holiday property is ideally positioned between both the Peak District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks, and a scenic drive can take you to Haworth’s Brontë Country, or visit where the TV series, ‘Last of the Summer Wine’, was filmed.
