An amazing house and fabulous grounds. We stayed to celebrate a special birthday. We received a lovely welcome basket and a very thoughtful birthday gift. Would definitely stay again.

Thanks for the lovely review, so glad you have a great time and hopefully we will get to host you again!
The house is beautiful, quite quirky and very cosy. Situated in a very beautiful quiet area in the countryside but not too far from local amenities and great pubs/restaurants. Excellent host with great communication and the property was spotless. An ideal base for exploring the delights Yorkshire has to hold with family and friends.

Thank you for the wonderfully review, we look forward to hosting you again in the future.
We were a party of 7 adults having a reunion from time spent overseas together several years ago. The house was very well equipped especially the kitchen. The living rooms were comfirtable and the log burning stove worked well with plenty of firewood provided. The beds were comfortable and the wifi worked fine.

Thank you for review and allowing me to host you and your guests 😊
Everything about this property is stunning. From the location to the view to the decor and just the whole feel of it. We walked in to a welcome pack full of goodies which was a very nice touch plus the host has literally covered anything you may or may not need throughout your stay. Our 10 family members and 2 dogs fit comfortably in the house, beds were comfy, bathrooms were immaculately cleaned and fresh fluffy towels for us all to use.The location of the house is perfectly placed overlooking all of Aire valley whilst in the country it’s also only 10 mins from the centre of Keighley. We had great communication with the host from the time of booking to the end of our stay and felt fully looked after should we need to ask any questions.Overall what an amazing staycation no problems at all and just as it should be when you’re booking time away with your family.Would highly recommend.Side note( the house is that big it’s great for a game of hide and seek, we had the most fun )

About the host
Hosted by Nicola Green
I am from England but currently living in the States for a few years and making the most of being able to travel another country and making memories with my family (including my furbabies). I grew up in Essex but my home and heart now belongs in Yorkshire! I really hope everyone who stays at our home gets a much enjoyment from it as I do and makes beautiful memories with family and friends,
Why they chose this property
We chose Glen Esk and West Morton cause we wanted to wake up listening to the birds sing and look out of the windows and see countryside! We wanted to be able to walk to a pub that makes good food! We wanted space for the dogs to run free and walks from the house. We wanted a house we could make fun family memories in. Glen Esk has all these things and so much more!
What makes this property unique
Glen Esk House is full of history, you can enjoy sitting inside the fireplace on the original seats, on a cold winters day, telling stories of what would have happened hundreds of years ago. On a warm summer's night you can sit round the fire pit eating s'mores and chatting about the days events over a drink or two, the pups have 2 large enclosed areas for running freely. and one of my favourite things to do is sit and watch the beautiful sunrise first thing in the morning with a coffee and listen to the birds wake up! if your more of an evening person you can take a sundowner and watch the sunset over the hills from the sunroom.
