The Old Calf Shed is situated in the centre of our 200 acre dairy and sheep farm with stunning views over the Wharfe Valley and within a short drive of Harrogate. Leeds and the Yorkshire dales. The cottage has 5 steps to enter then is all on level with well equipped kitchen & super king and King sized beds. Enjoy the homemade cakes and Nespresso coffee on welcome and relax in the bubbling hot tub.

Absolutely set in amazing scenery this is our 2nd visit for our dachshunds holiday as lots of room to run around safely The hot tub is also fabulous spent 6 hours in on 1 day of our stay ,just what bank holidays are all aboutThe host left us some cakes absolutely delicious and a jug of fresh cows milk All I can say is you won’t be disappointed on booking this stay

Excellent little cottage and suited two couples well. View is stunning and hot tub was a big bonus for some star gazing. Host lovely. Our only gripe was the sofa, not very easy to sit on and relax at night. Thank you for a great stay!

What an amazing cottage had everything you would need including tea, coffee, eggs, milk and more. Beautifully presented and spotlessly clean with a fabulous hot tub ready on arrival. Great host, all in all a great stay and thoroughly recommended.

Fabulous cottage and just what we needed. Having 2 dogs the enclosed garden was great and we could sit and admire the views whilst they sniffed around. The living area was very well equipped and cosy. Fabulously quiet - we hardly heard the cows. The large bedrooms and modern en-suites were lovely. Parking was no problem. We didn't use the hot tub. It feels like you are in the middle of nowhere but only 20 minutes into Harrogate and you have all the facilities. Definitely on the list for a return visit.

Lovely farm stay with hot tub

Lovely few days at this farm cottage hosted by Julie. The cottage is very well equipped and the beds were the most comfortable we’ve had at any cottage! The location is beautiful with fantastic views across open countryside and the hot tub fab to come home to. Julie also gave us a tour of the cow and nursery sheds which was interesting and eye opening. Would defo Italy recommend.

My partner and I booked in for a 3 night break in the old calf shed. Wow what a place. Fantastic views of the valley (i would suggest binoculars to watch the birds of prey) while you sit in the hot tub. Everything needed for a self catering break is in the kitchen. We had asked for the afternoon tea which didn't fail to impress either. Those cakes were to die for. Julie is such a lovely host, she took us for a walk around the farm talking to us all the time explaining how everything worked and looking at the calfs. We had a fantastic break and will definitely book again.

Lovely countryside place if you're needing a break away from the city, but still only a short drive away from Otley town centre with lots to do there and plenty of places for walks! we will 100% be booking again and have already sent the links to friends!
