This wonderful, detached cottage surrounded by moorlands, near Todmorden, can sleep seven people in three bedrooms.
Salter Rake Gate Cottage is a splendid, detached cottage situated high on the Brontë Moors near Walsden, just two miles from Todmorden. The cottage offers a king-size double room with single sofa bed boasting glorious views of the surrounding fells, a king-size double room, a twin room, family bathroom and a shower room. There is also a well-equipped kitchen with a dining area and a sitting room with a woodburning stove and a further dining area. Outside, there is a patio with furniture and access to a meadow for dog walking, and off road parking for two cars. Salter Rake Gate Cottage is the perfect base for a family break exploring the Brontë Moors and the South Pennine Moors, all year round. The cottage overlooks the owner's private mature gardens. Note: Access to the property is up a steep, narrow drive and parking may be tight for very large cars. Note: Meadow not suitable for young children due to unfenced pond. NOTE: The owner has a car charging facility for electric cars at £15 per charge- please ask the owner for further details on arrival.Note: There is a minimum of a 7 night stay for bookings in mid July and all of August and bookings must start on a Saturday
