Recently renovated in bohemian style, it has a large living area with equipped kitchen, WiFi, large screen with video projector, satellite channels, Sky and video library. Our Loft is located on the first floor (without a lift), with an entrance and views into the inner courtyard, in a building in the historic center, a few steps from the main transport stops that connect quickly with every point of the city, with the trade fair and medical facilities. Furthermore we are only 1.7 Km from the Central Station (very well connected by numerous buses within walking distance) and 8 Km from the Marconi Airport of Bologna (connected with Navetta - BLQ). At 150 m taxi rank.
Paid secure parking a few meters away which will issue you the permit to enter the ZTL area.

ZTL
Our Loft, being in the Historic Center, is located within the Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL) reserved exclusively for residents of the historic center of Bologna from 7 to 20.
It is possible to park immediately outside the ZTL, on the road (blue stripes) reachable on foot in less than 5 minutes, in the streets closest to us, that is via Riva di Reno and via della Grada. This parking costs on average 1.80 euros per hour from 8 to 20 (after 20.00 it is free).
If you want to access the ZTL, you need to park in a paid garage. The garage will communicate your license plate to the Municipal Police and you will automatically be allowed to drive through the ZTL (any transit in ZTL that is not to arrive at a paid garage is sanctioned - cameras at each access gate). The paid garage just a few meters away from our Loft is the Garage San Felice, in Via San Felice 28 / b (contact details: 051236023 - 3358426677 - open from 8. 00 to 20. 00 from Monday to Saturday) .
IMPORTANT: in Bologna there is an additional Limited Traffic Zone, the T Zone, where it is ALWAYS forbidden to transit, ie via Indipendenza and via Rizzoli (the central streets of the city, which intersect and form a T).

Historic Center - more details
We are at the beginning of Via San Felice and at the corner of Piazzia Malpighi and the ancient and monumental Basilica of San Francesco, from the 12th century.
In a few minutes on foot, under the historic Bolognese arcades, you reach Piazza Maggiore, the main square of the city, and the famous "Due Torri".
From there all the main Medieval Monuments, the ancient Churches and the modern Museums.
In addition to numerous cultural activities, you can indulge in exclusive shopping under the famous Portico del Pavaglione or at Galleria Cavour.
Or, on Friday and Saturday (until 5.00 pm) you can immerse yourself in the "Piazzola", the large market of Bologna in Piazza VIII Agosto.

Eating in Bologna
Eating in Bologna is a must and there is plenty of choice!
The street next to our Loft, via del Pratello is full of characteristic bars, and just a few steps away is the ancient "Mercato delle Erbe" which joins the traditional stalls and shops, restaurants, wine bars, meeting points for Bologna and for the many tourists.
Of particular charm will also be to visit the ancient and romantic alleys behind the Pavaglione, with shops of typical products and characteristic cafes, such as the "Mercato di Mezzo", where you can taste a good glass of wine with the colors of the sunset or delight in the many restaurants, taverns or local restaurants for every taste in cuisine.
