Detached villa with fantastic views and a private swimming pool.
A detached 3 bedroom , 4 bath/shower room villa situated in the desirable location of Mojacar Playa, approximately 260 meters from Las Ventanicas beach and an excellent range of bars and restaurants. It benefits from an elevated position providing some of the best sea views you will find in Mojacar. The villa has air conditioning throughout.
Approaching the villa, there are two private parking spaces and an integral garage. To the front of the property is the private pool with a very large, south east facing patio wrapping around the property. There are 6 sun loungers, a table and chairs for 6 people and a gas barbecue. The pool has had a full refurbishment in February 2021. The entire patio area is enclosed with walls and railings, preventing children from wandering off. We have installed additional lighting in 2023. The exterior of the property was repainted in 2023.
One of the things that sold this villa to us is the peace and quiet. Although you are only a 5 minute walk from the sea and the bars, all you can hear is the sea. We only have one neighbour who lives there permanently. For this reason we do not accept all male or all female group bookings, as the development is more suited to family groups.
Entering the property you will find a large lounge with a marble fireplace including a gas fire. There is a 43 inch smart flat screen television with both Spanish and UK programs and wireless internet with a strong connection throughout the house and outside.
From the lounge, through one arch you are in the open plan kitchen/dining room with an extendable table and chairs for 6 people, with patio doors onto the side terrace. The kitchen is fully fitted with integrated microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, oven and hob and a fridge freezer. Another arch from the lounge leads to the downstairs shower room and a door to the integral garage. There is a second fridge freezer in the garage.
At the rear of the lounge there is a feature marble staircase to the first floor, with a galleried landing with access to the three bedrooms. All three bedrooms have brand new matresses in 2023.
The master bedroom overlooks the pool and has amazing sea views to the front. There are plenty of built in wardrobes and drawer units. French doors open out onto the upstairs terrace/balcony with a table and seating for 4, perfect for watching the sunrise with a cup of tea. Back in the bedroom there is a door leading to the luxury en suite shower room.
Bedroom 2 is a double, again with built in wardrobes and plenty of drawer space. Sliding patios doors open onto the balcony/terrace shared with the master bedroom. This bedroom also has amazing sea views. There is an en suite luxury bathroom with a full sized bath with a shower over.
Bedroom 3 is at the end of the landing, and is a double with sea views over the pool. Again it has built in wardrobes and plenty of drawer space. Whilst this bedroom is not en suite, immediately outside the door is the family bathroom with a full size bath with shower over.
The villa has full double glazing and the hot water is fired by plumbed gas on demand.
We supply towels for the bathrooms and for around the pool so no need to bring your own.
There is a hill to get to the villa hence the spectacular views. However, if you are not up to walking up the hill local taxi firms typically charge 8 euros to deliver you to the door.
There are plenty of good golf courses in the area and the beach is excellent for water sports.
Almeria Airport is approximately a 45 minute drive, Murcia 1 hour and 20, Alicante 2 hours and Malaga 2 hours and 45 minutes.
Our villa is managed by a local agent, Mojacar Estates, who will take care of the property while you are there. Cleaning before and after your visit is included in the price, as well as pool cleaning a minimum of once per week, more frequently in the summer.
