Fig Tree Villa is a traditional stone villa set in an olive grove, surrounded by dry stone walls dating back centuries.
It is located in the small Dalmatian village of Pupnat, close to the island’s most spectacular bay, Pupnatska Luka and the historic town of Korcula.
Pupnat, the oldest settlement on the island dating back from Illyrian times has well preserved village architecture and is best known for its bay of Pupnatska Luka, one of the most beautiful beaches on the island.
The villa is surrounded by lush pine forests, set in a private tranquil location, yet only a short stroll to the village.
Pupnat has two reputable restaurants, Konoba Mate (Michelin Guide 2018, 2019) and Pagar (Fresh fish restaurant). The local church, ‘Gospa od Sniga’, dates from the 1620s and is situated in the village square. There is also a grocery store in the village for any essentials.
The villa itself and the grounds are built in the traditional stone of the region. The in ground pool has a spacious terrace and lounge area.
There is a further terrace for dining with a large stone barbecue.
Within the walls of the property the grounds are filled with both olive and fig trees.
The house has an open plan lounge area and fully equipped kitchen with air conditioning. There are two double bedrooms, one with shower ensuite. Both rooms have remote controlled ceiling fans and the main bathroom has a spacious walk in shower.
The property has satellite television and excellent wifi throughout.
