Dolphin is a 2-bed villa with a private pool, located in a wonderful location for families or couples who wish to enjoy a relaxing holiday exploring the beautiful Apokoronas region of Crete away from the usual busy holiday resorts. The villa is within walking distance of the old village of Vamos, which is well-served by bars, tavernas, a pharmacy, mini-markets, a bank (with ATM) and 24-hour Health Centre. Several beaches and other local attractions are within a short drive from Vamos. The villa is a single storey villa, sleeping up to 4 guests in 2 bedrooms. Rooms in the villa have high beamed ceilings, giving the inside space an airy feel, even in high summer. There is a double bedroom (with en-suite shower room), and a second bedroom with twin beds. The bedrooms are air-conditioned - reverse cycle air conditioners provide cool air for the summer heat and will warm the rooms on chilly winter evenings. All main rooms have ceiling fans.
There are beautiful views of the White Mountains to the south-west, and a view across the village of Vamos to the sea at Souda Bay to the north.
The villa has its own 35sqm swimming pool, which is 1.6m deep at the deep end, 0.6m at the shallow end, with stone steps between the two levels. There is a terrace around the pool, and a shady balcony at the front of the house, with a garden to the rear. Pool loungers are provided for all guests.
The villa is well-equipped. All modern facilities are provided, including washing machine, cooker, fridge-freezer and a dishwasher. Free WiFi internet access is provided. A safe is provided for your valuables.
Although not strictly fully wheelchair accessible, Dolphin Villa has ramp access to the front of the house. The main living area is then accessed through a large double front door, set in a feature stone arch, and accommodation is all on one level.
There is ample private parking to the front of the villa, and a shaded carport to the side.
