Sunnybank is a detached property, situated in a perfect elevated position, with a large enclosed and mature garden, and fabulous views. It is a lovely holiday home within the Scottish Highlands, located a short drive from the village of Torridon.
The living room is spacious and has an outstanding original fireplace with a wood burner. A large TV sits next to the window, so you can choose which one you want to sit and look at. Upstairs, there is a spacious double bedroom with original croft house style wood panelling that has been cleverly painted white to give the room a lovely bright feel. Sunnybank is a gem in one of the best Scottish Highlands locations. You won’t regret staying here.
Through the living room there is a large kitchen/dining room, which has a door leading out to the garden, with space for those muddy boots and coats. In the garden there is a shed to store cycle equipment. The cottage looks out across Loch Torridon, and is at the foot of the Torridon mountains where you will find many walks. Take a stroll along the shore and spot seals, dolphins and otters, or hike up the range to see red deer, pine marten, and both golden and sea eagles. It’s a nature lover’s paradise.
The drive to the cottage is uplifting, going deeper and deeper into the Scottish wilderness. Torridon is most famous for the CELTMAN!, an annual extreme triathlon. Shop 5 miles, pub 7 miles and restaurant 5 miles.
