Located in a peaceful and quiet area with panoramic views over Kalamar Bay, Villa Les Bougainvilliers is a traditional detached property that is situated close to the sea front. It was built as a private home and its position provides stunning views of the bay and is within easy access to the Kalamar Bay and Kulube Beach Clubs. This delightful villa, with its own private pool, is set within its own mature and colourful gardens and is abundant with sunny and shaded areas for your total relaxation. Poolside sun loungers and parasols are provided. The stunning views of the turquoise waters, of the Mediterranean, are captured from all balconies, bedrooms and the upper roof terrace. On your arrival you will find a welcome pack containing Tea, Coffee, Water, Sugar, Milk and Biscuits.

The fully air-conditioned villa is bright and spacious with beautiful tiled floors and stairs throughout. The ground floor has a fully equipped family kitchen with dining area, with large table, that leads out onto the poolside terrace with its sunny outlook, outside dining space and bathing area. The spacious and comfortable lounge, with its distinctive stone fireplace, has TV and internet access. This room looks out over the 6.4m long pool (Pool is 6.40m Long x 3.20m Wide,
Depth is 1.3m to 1.7 m).

On the first floor, there are two bedrooms and a spacious family bathroom with full bath and shower. The master bedroom is particularly spacious with large French doors leading to its own balcony, to the front, and further access to a corner balcony with covered pergola.
The second bedroom also has large glass doors with access to the corner covered balcony. Set up as a twin, this can be arranged as a double if required. Both rooms are light and airy, and command stunning sea views.

The top floor, and a favourite with all who visit, is the charming roof terrace area with outstanding views over Kalamar Bay with its rich turquoise waters. It has a feature stone oven, covered pergola and seating area. The perfect place to end the day watching the sun go down with a glass of wine. The third bedroom is also located on this level as well as a separate utility area. The third bedroom, again fully air conditioned, comfortably accommodates three single beds. Height restrictions apply. There is plenty of storage space, and the front facing window again captures the stunning bay views.

The villa has its own individual, yet private access, and benefits from easy parking to the front for those who wish to arrive by car.

Kalkan is more than just another pretty seaside town. It has a reputation for its friendly cosmopolitan atmosphere, excellent dining and low-key night life. Within a short drive of the town you can also find yourself in stunning mountain scenery with pine forests, river gorges, and sites of antiquity. There is plenty to see and do for all age groups, with day trips readily available on land and sea. Its climate, stunning scenery, Blue Flag awarded sea, amazing restaurants and local hospitality are an addictive combination.

Kalkan Old Town is 5 minutes by car and there are plenty of restaurants and places to stop along the way. Just 5 minutes drive due east of Kalkan is Kaputas Beach, one of Turkey’s most photographed beaches. To the west is another famous Beach at Patara, with its 17km of uninterrupted sand, ancient ruins and nature reserve. Close to Patara are the remains of the ancient Roman and Lycian cities of Xanthos and Letoon. All are accessible by local bus and taxi services from the centre of Kalkan.

Getting Here:
Dalaman airport is approximately 60 minutes away. Transfer to and from the airport is usually by car hire, taxi or private minibus. We can help arrange transfers from Kalkan. There are also flights available to and from Antalya which is approx. 3 hour drive away.

Finishing Touches:
Prior to your arrival, Villa 'Les Bougainvilliers' will be thoroughly cleaned with all bedding, linen & towels being replaced. This service is provided by our fabulous and local team based within Kalkan. They can also provide welcome packs for you that can be catered to your individual needs. The specifics of such can all be discussed as part of your booking and prior to your arrival.

Our local maintenance team are aligned to the Ministry of Health Turkey (MHT) recommendations for the cleaning of guest accomodation. For us, we want to do all we can and to that end have a registered specialist team that visit the villa, after guests check out, to disinfect all areas. Once this is complete, our regular maintenance staff will carry out their own thorough cleaning duties.

Everything looked beautiful in the photos, but especially when we arrived at our location, my partner and I saw how beautiful and peaceful the neighborhood is. The house is ideal to rest and have great holidays.

Something like a tropical Paradise!
Of course it was hot. But that heat was what I came for. My friend and I spent long languid afternoons beside the refreshing pool - just reading and talking - and periodically diving in. Heaven! Even at night - in the light of an almost full moon. The house itself is most comfortable, altho aside from putting together a few meals, taking aperativos on the top terrace, and sleeping, we hardly used it. Nearby is Patara where we visited the impressive ruins one late afternoon before having a dinner with a friend in the village. Another day we drove up to Bezirgan, alongside the deep gorge that opens to the popular beach at Kaputas, and then on to Islamlar for a wonderful fresh trout lunch . And we also had dinner at my favorite Akin resto, in Kalkan, and discovered a Greek Taverna styled resto, Sardelaki, right on the sea in Kas. Back to the villa. The well-furnished house is in impeccable shape and is surrounded by beautiful old bougainvillea vines. It, and the pool, are serviced by a most attentive and responsive team of care-takers should anything seem to go wrong. I wish now that I'd booked 2 weeks instead of just the one and will want to return next year. Although we were just 2 friends, the house would make a good base for a family. Initially a bit tricky to find, a call to the team quickly got us there. A car is recommended to get to nearby markets for supplies.
