Pretty house w/all comforts, NEW heated saltwater pool, 6ac beautiful grounds

In the LOW and MEDIUM season prices are based on 2 people renting!
Additional guests are charged 10E per person and night.

Children are welcome from 12 years.

From 9. July to 20. August arrival and departure day is Saturday.

The pool is open from May to October 24h a day.

Your hosts, David and Ariane, invite you to enjoy the charm of Domaine du Moulin, which dates back to around 1800.

The Domaine with its four Gîtes, the large heated swimming pool and extensive grounds are located in Occitanie, the Southwest of France, close to Limoux in a picturesque valley.

Only 30 minutes from Carcassonne and its airport and about an hour from Toulouse or Narbonne, it is ideally placed to explore the Cathare castles, the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean Sea - or just relax by the swimming pool and take in the view.

A former farm out-building, the Grange is the closest to the pool. On the ground floor is one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and a shower room, all with underfloor heating. The open plan lounge and kitchen with electric heating are on the first floor with patio doors leading to the private terrace.

The shower room contains his and her washbasins, a large walk-in shower with pebble stone floor, toilet and washing machine.

The living area is furnished with comfortable sofas, a coffee table as well as TV and DVD/CD player.

The kitchen is fully equipped with table and chairs, fridge/freezer, electric hob/oven, a dishwasher and ample cooking utensils.

The walled terrace is equipped with garden furniture and a gas barbeque.

Great comfortable hideaway near Limoux

Lovely holiday home. Very happy with the good kitchen facilities and the lovely bathroom. To top it off a salt water swimming pool on the property, which was welcome after a long walk in the hills

Great place to stay

This was a fantastic apartment, two good sized rooms that kept cool by being downstairs, the lounge/kitchen was upstairs and perfectly appointed, easy to cook in and comfortable to relax in. The swimming pool was great to finish the days off with a quick dip and the shower / bathroom was great too. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and the location was very good to see the whole region.

Lovely spring break

We spent a lovely long week-end at Duncan and Amy's. Their place is easy to live in, quiet and within easy reach of amazing spots to visit. The swimming- pool is very pleasant. I recommend this place.

Lovely property in beautiful location.

Overall a very good experience. But lighting in sitting area was poor which made it difficult to read there.

Amy & Duncan are very accommodating hosts. The location proves both peace & tranquillity but also easy access to the local towns & sight seeing adventures. Great pool location. The Gîte's amenities were adequate - washer worked really well & the BBQ was excellent. WiFi was touchy but our hosts fixed that so future guests should have no issues. It is located in a lovely part of France. We really enjoyed our stay!

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit. Eine atemberaubend schöne Umgebung...viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten....ein toller Pool....und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten waren auch in der Nähe.Es war sehr schön am Abend noch eine Stunde am Pool zu relaxen und hin und wieder ein paar nette Gespräche mit unseren Gastgebern zu führen. Selbst das Wetter im Oktober war sehr beständig mit 24 Grad so das man noch etwas Sommerflair spüren konnte. Das Haus war sauber und relativ gut ausgestattet .

Das Raumklima in der unteren Etage (Schlafzimmer) ist nicht gut. Bei Öffnung des Fensters in der Nacht stört jedes auf der unmittelbar benachbarten (wenig befahrenen) Strasse vorbeifahrende Auto.

We are very sorry to hear you heard lots of noise but at this time of year they are harvesting the grapes. Obviously we are in the heart of wine country so this is something that happens at this time of the year and gives this region such a beautiful reputation. Our gite does have double glazing which means noise should be alot less inside. There are many events this time of year that celebrate the grapes being harvested which is lovely. This is not normal for such farm traffic but due to the region we live in it does happen every year at this time. If you are keen on wine it’s a great time to visit. Thank you for your review.

Großartiger Urlaub im Pyrenäenvorland

Wir haben eine Woche im Gite "Le Grange" verbracht und es war einfach wunderbar. Ob der saubere Pool, die Tiere (drei Babyziegen und ein Babyesel), die Vermieter (Amy und Duncan sind so nett!), die Landschaft, die Umgebung (Toulouse, Carcassonne, sogar Andorra sind problemlos erreichbar) - hier war für jeden in der Familie was dabei. Und alle sind mit einem weinenden Auge abgereist. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!(Einziger "Minuspunkt": Die Ausstattung kommt langsam in die Jahre (wenn man es weiß, ist es aber kein Problem) und das WLAN funktionierte nicht wirklich. Alles nichts, was das Erlebnis geschmälert hätte!)

Insgesamt haben wir uns in dem Häuschen in Roquetaillade-et-Conilhac recht wohl gefühlt. Es müsste aber einiges am Inventar ausgetauscht und erneuert werde. Die Sitzkissen für die Stühle auf der Terrasse waren stark verschmutzt und fleckig. Die Stühle selbst wackelig. Der Gasgrill, war innen verrostet und wurde aber einen Tag bevor wir abreisten erneuert. Für die Kaffeekanne fehlte der Deckel und nach einem Sonnenschirm und Wäscheständer mussten wir fragen. Leider waren die, die wir bekamen auch sehr alt und wackelig. Die Gegend ist sehr schön, hat aber nicht den Charme der Provence, oder des Luberons.

Si on ferme les portes, fenetres et volets pendant la journee, la maison ne se chauffe pas. En plus il y a un ventilateur.

Einfach herrlich!

Inmitten einer wunderschönen Landschaft, deren Erkundung sich mehr als lohnt, bietet die Domaine du Moulin (Grange) einen grossartigen Ausgangspunkt - da fühlt man sich einfach wohl, umgeben von Ruhe und Natur; kaum zu glauben, dass denn doch grössere Orte wie Limoux oder gar die auf wundersame Weise vereinnahmende Cité de Carcassonne so nahe liegen, genauso wie unberührte Wälder, unbebaute Weiten und die sich fast schon dramatisch auf ihren Pyrenäenfelsen erhebenden Burgen. Einfach durchatmen, Geschichte erspüren und rekapitulieren, anschliessend eine Runde im Pool schwimmen, den Zauber dieses Ortes und seiner geschichtsträchtigen Umgebung wirken lassen. Wahrlich ein zauberhafter Ort, und alles ist mit so viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und ausgestattet, sodass es einem an nichts fehlt. Erkunden, die Region entdecken dank all der wertvollen Hinweise der Gastgeber - oder einfach einmal da bleiben und La Domaine du Moulin geniessen - ein Ort zum Verweilen.

Bien situé, le logement est très bien entretenu et parait neuf. Les matelas sont très confortables et le site est calme. Bien équipé et lumineux, nous avons passé un bon séjour à découvrir la région qui est riche.

Heerlijk relaxen

Mooie woning met heerlijk zwembad. Van alle gemakken voorzien. Fijn terras wat grootste deel van de dag in de schaduw ligt. Ook slaapkamers bleven lekker koel in een warme week van gemiddeld 37 graden. Heerlijke week gehad!

Relaxed happy holiday accommodation

Jolie location bien équipée mais quelques desagrements

Séjour familial dans le gîte « La Grange ». Gîte bien équipé, fonctionnel et bénéficiant d’une terrasse privative. Attention: la pièce à vivre est en étage (maison demi enterrée sur 2 niveaux), les chambres étant en réa de jardin. L’etage Inférieur nécessite une aération permanente en raison de remontées d’odeurs (sans doute humidité liée au caractère semi enterré de la maison + fosse septique). WiFi inopérant et réseau téléphonique mauvais, attention si vous devez rester connectes. Prévoyez également du produit anti moustiques. Hôtes sympathiques et réactifs en cas de problèmes mais qui peuvent être absents lors de l’arrivee.

Le Wifi et le reseau telephonique fonctionnent. En fait, il y a eu un probleme avec le cable. Orange l'a remplace. Nous avons des moustiquaires dans toutes les pieces et si je ne suis pas sur place, je donne toujours des explications comment se debrouiller seul jusque je viens pour le bienvenue.
