Enjoy this Packwood home custom designed and built by us with fully stocked kitchen, granite counters, stainless steel appliances, hardwood floors and all wood accents. The deck is huge with deck furniture, new hot tub, firepit and bbq. There are 2 smart TV's with YoutubeTV and free ROKU. Enjoy the fireplace, washer/dryer and fast wifi. There are 2 queen bedrooms and 1 new king bed in the master that sleep up to 6 guests.

If you are bringing a dog please note we only allow ONE SMALL DOG under 25lbs for a $39 fee. In your reservation request please let us know what kind of dog you have and how many pounds he is!

In winter you will love White Pass Ski Resort, only 15 miles away with amazing trails and lifts with great views of Mt Rainier. And White Pass has incredible snow as we are on the lighter side of the Cascades! Plan your ski vacation now!

In summer and fall enjoy Mt Rainier National Park. The closest Mt Rainier National Park entrance is Steven's Canyon entrance which is 7 miles away open late May to October.

This 3 bedroom, 2 bath chalet is in Packwood, WA, three miles east of Packwood with shops and restaurants and 2 new breweries!

My husband and I had a great stay at Forest Ridge Chalet. After long days hiking Mt Rainier we appreciated coming back to the cabin to relax. The communication was great and everything as described in the listing. We were a little worried that the closest entrance into Mt Rainier would be closed due to construction on 123 but the Stevens Canyon Entrance was open and very convenient. Everything was very clean and plenty of dishes for a crowd. We enjoyed seeing the stars from the back deck. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. This was a great value for the space and convenience to the park. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location, cozy, relaxing stay

The location is so peaceful for our family and they had great amenities. The views and close location to Mt. Rainier national park was very convenient! The quick drive to Packwood was a big perk too for a cute coffee spot and restaurants. We loved our stay and would go again.

Quiet with good views

The cabin is spacious in a peaceful setting with a beautiful yard and view. And we enjoyed the hot tub! Convenient to coffee and restaurants in town as well as the National Park.

Quiet and convenient stay for Mt Rainier

We loved this place! It’s a very short drive into a cute downtown but enough away that it gives you a head start to get to Mt Rainier entrances (in the Summer). The hot tub was such a relief following a day of hiking and the house was clean and comfortable.

Quiet stay

The home was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the hot tub and the yard by the fire pit. The neighborhood was quiet. A great place for visiting Mt Rainier!

This place was perfect!

We loved everything about this house. There was plenty of space for 4 adults, and probably 6 had we had two more join us. The kitchen, dining and living spaces were all very spacious. We were close to Packwood and close enough to White Pass. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

What a fantastic spot! 20 minutes from White Pass...skiing, snowshoeing, recreation. Outdoor hot tub, clean, perfect temperature, out in the open for star gazing. Chalet was better than advertised. Will definitely visit again.

Great stay in Packwood!

This property was a great home base for exploring Mt. Rainer for a few days with our three adult children. It is exactly as advertised - nice sleeping arrangements for our group of 5, ac kept us cool on a very warm stretch of days. The hot tub was nice at the end of a long day of hiking and the kitchen was well appointed. Bob is a great host- communicates well, added helpful suggestions and was available if there had been any issues - there were not! I'd happily return here for another stay if we were returning to the area in the future.

Very clean and quiet

Very clean and roomy. Well maintained and equipped. There is a minimal view of a mountain from behind the residence and Rainier is not visible until you are almost to Packwood which is 3.5 miles from the residence.

White pass trip

Overall it was a great stay. House was clean and hot tub wonderful. Be aware there are very few spices so bring your own and your own oil. We did fortunately. There is only one cutting board we could find and it was both very small and not rigid. Suggest an additional one. Only 6 large plates so had to run the dishwasher after each meal. Maybe add a couple more large plates. Small things but would improve the experience. Overall we would come here again. Came with our kids and grandparents. Such a great area.

Nice cottage near Mt Rainier

Quite and beautiful neighborhood. Close to both Paradise and Sunrise districts of the Mt Rainier national park. Clean bathrooms and beds. Truly enjoyed the stay.

Loved it. Affordable. Timberline is a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The hot tub is nice. There are a ton of strawberry plants in the grass. I bet staying there when they're ripe would be incredible. I accidentally left a jacket. They charge 25 plus shipping for left behind items. A reasonable policy. Be sure to bring shampoo and conditioner. They provide soap bars only.

White Pass/Spring break getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Forest Ridge Chalet! The cabin was very clean (and pet friendly) with all the essentials needed for our 4 night stay. We cooked, hiked, relaxed, hot tubbed, watched movies (on included Netflix)... if only the skiing conditions were better, it would have been the perfect trip. I'm sure we'll be back. Thanks, Bob!
