About this property

Traditional Stone House for 6 Guests

In the centre of St Suliac this stylish house is conveniently located, close to the sea front and local amenities. St Suliac is one of the 'plus beaux villages de France' - one of only 4 in Brittany. The house sleeps 6 in comfort in three bedrooms, (and 2 bathrooms) including a very large 'attic' room complete with sitting area.
The village boasts 3 restaurants, 1 gallery, a grocery shop, a bakery, Post Office and 2 snack bars on seafront in summer months- in fact you could spend your whole holiday without using your car - unless you want to visit the local sights - the walled town of St Malo, elegant Dinard, medieval Dinan, Cancale and Mont St Michel.

We had a perfect stay in Saint-Suliac! The location couldn’t be better—we walked to the grocery store, bakery, ice cream shop, and the beach every day. It was so convenient and made it easy to settle into a relaxing routine. The village itself is beautiful and peaceful, and it was also a great base for exploring the surrounding area. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot!

Lovely house in splendid village

We really enjoyed our stay in Saint-suliac. The house is even better than shown at the pictures. Very spacious, well equipped and in the centre of the village. Restaurants, bars, supermarket and bakery within two minutes walk.

Relaxing family holiday

We enjoyed a lovely week in Saint Suliac. Fantastic house - perfect for my seventeen year old son who had his own room , TV and ensuite at the top of the house! Really comfortable and homely. Loved the décor. Friendly welcome. Would highly recommend for a relaxing family holiday.

A little piece of heaven.

The house was welcoming and felt like home the moment we stepped into the charming courtyard garden that serves as the transition entrance from the street to the house. We had everything we needed and more, including an excellent selection of CDs for listening and a wall of books just begging to be read. Because our visit was off-season, restaurant availability in town was limited, but between the small grocery steps away and the bakery up the hill, we were always well stocked and had fun cooking for ourselves. There is an extensive trail system in the area that we only managed to hike a fraction of. I can't wait for the chance to return and explore more. I recommend the house, the host, and the location highly.

Very nice stay in Saint-Suliac

Wundervoller Aufenthalt in Saint Suliac

Lovely, quaint house in a beautiful village

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this quirky house, which so convenient for the boulangerie and the epicerie as well as the port area and sailing club. Very many thanks to Ruth for not only arranging for the safe storage of our sailing dinghy at the club nautique but also for waiting for us to arrive and giving us such a warm welcome, when we were delayed by the heavy traffic in the north of France. It was so lovely to be able to be back in France after 2 1/2 years absence. Just a tip for other guests - if you arrive after 20:00, the restaurants are likely to be "complet" and so make sure you have enough supplies for an evening meal. The dishwasher could do with replacement or at least a new cutlery container. The church bells are also a force to be reckoned with but we loved it and will be back!

Why they chose this property

St Suliac is a beautiful old fisherman's village right on the edge of the River Rance. An easy 10 minute drive from St Malo (and the ferries, and train) it is a perfect location to explore from - or to relax in. The waterfront is a lovely walk past old houses and cafes/bars with places to sit and watch the world go by.

What makes this property unique

Right in the centre of the old town, metres from the bar, grocery store, church, boulangerie, post office and several restaurants the house is also only a 200m walk to the seafront. We have a lovely courtyard garden for lunches on sunny days, lots of old world charm with spacious rooms for relaxing. Ou linen is dryed in a garden when wind and sun permits. You won't want to leave.
