This unique home is a tower, laid out on 4 floors. The rooms wind around the central staircase. It is unusual, charming, and the location is truly remarkable. Next door to the Brown Castle. Minutes from the main Piazza of Portofino. Nestled in amongst magnificent residences of VIPs.

There is an elevator which is only shared with a few other property owners, and which brings you to from the harbour to the main entrance.
From the tower, along the pathway where Castle Brown is, there is direct access to a small beach where you can walk (3 minutes down and 5 minutes up) to, have a swim, and then walk back up in your wet swimsuit. How chic!

I like to welcome guests at check in and to show you around the house. I provide my guests with loads of information on the area and amenities so that they can truly experience the area as a local would. I am available of course, for any questions prior to and during your stay.

Perched above the Sea, with magnificent views over the gulf and onto some of the most exclusive villas in Portofino. The Tower has magnificent views from every room.

Explore the Italian Riviera, hiking trails, Camogli, Portofino, San Fruttuoso and the nearby Cinque Terre – all from a home base. This beautiful home is set within the Portofino Natural Park, and you can take wonderful country walks and reach exclusive beaches and the magnificent bay of Paraggi, the lovely town of San Fruttuoso and Santa Margherita Ligure. Park your car and make your way around this marvellous area by foot, by train, by ferry or private taxi boat. Concierge services are available to make your stay magical and stress free.
There will be some paperwork to review and sign upon arrival. We will need to register all guests according to Italian law so will require ID for all guests staying at the property. There is also a tourist tax of €2/person (over 15) per night which must be paid at check in.

Portofino is like a dream. It belongs to another era. The pace is slow. The harbour is dotted with luxury boutiques, and fine restaurants. The boats in the harbour and at port dance in the waves. The sun shines. Wine glasses clink as couples and friends sit down to a meal. The yachts that moor here are worth a gaze. It is the playground of the rich and famous. The water is sublime. The beaches are waiting for you to come and relax.

The area is easily accessed by public transport, by car, by ferry boats (except for during winter months when ferries stop running temporarily). There are many beautiful hiking paths within the park of Portofino for those who love to explore.
There is a public parking lot in Portofino for those who wish to arrive by car. Otherwise I am happy to arrange for taxi transfers from airport or train station with a professional driver, for a pre-set rate.
Daily rates, subject to availability in the public parking lot are 26.50 for 25 hours and 42 euros for 48 hours. If you are arriving by car, you can park in the lot in Portofino, and walk down to the pedestrian only harbour where there is the elevator with access to the tower entrance. Otherwise you can also reach the tower by foot, using the pathway. For a small fee, there is the possibility of having someone come to help you with your luggage. We are also happy to help you arrange to have groceries delivered.
