Quietly nestled away in the picturesque town of Callander and offering fabulous views of the River Teith and Ben Ledi in the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, a perfect location for a relaxing break at any time of the year.
Ben Ledi View is a welcoming second floor apartment, refurbished to a very high standard in 2019. The apartment is perfect for couples or a small family to explore and enjoy the stunning scenery in the national park. Guests have shared use of a large and sunny lawned garden.
A short stroll from the door takes you into the friendly town centre of Callander which offers everything from fine dining to fish and chip shops, cafés and pubs, specialist whisky shops, supermarkets, galleries and local shops. There are lovely riverside and forest walks on your door step, quiet cycle paths and routes all surrounded by breathtaking scenery.
This area, well known for its natural scenic beauty, has outdoor activities to suite all abilities including a vast range of hill walking, watersports, road cycling, mountain biking, climbing, golf and fishing. Many of the top visitor attractions are nearby. Alternatively, take a cruise on the steam ship Sir Walter Scott on Loch Katrine which has been sailing on the loch for more than a century. The stunning surrounding scenery inspired Sir Walter Scott to write the poem ’Lady of the Lake’.
For days out there are whisky distilleries, historic buildings and castles. The city of Stirling is only 20 minutes’ drive, or a little further afield are Edinburgh and Glasgow in just over an hour.
Guided walks taking you into the countryside and mountains can be arranged with the owner, a qualified mountain leader at additional cost.
