The Space
Relaxed and tasteful - always with attention to detail, materials, comfort and context - you will see a combination of old and new throughout the house. The rustic, pine-panelled walls and vaulted ceiling in the main living space give the house openess and warmth. A ceiling fan and excellent cross ventilation make AC redundant for all but the warmest days. But if your inner thermometer trends upwards, there's a window unit AC to keep you cool. Large windows throughout bring the outdoors indoors.
The main living area includes living room, kitchen and dining area, with easy access to the outdoor deck. The cedar-panelled downstairs bedroom with queen bed has sliding glass doors opening onto the yard and the private outdoor shower. Upstairs is a large sleeping loft with twin beds that can be pushed together for a king size bed arrangement. A small den off the LR has books, TV, DVD and stereo system. The striking bathroom is tiled floor-to-ceiling in mosaic glass tile, with vaulted ceiling panelled in cedar. There is a full-size tub with shower. A washer/dryer in the cellar can be accessed by an outside hatch door.
Bay beaches to the east and the west offer kid-safe swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking as well as stunning sunrises and sunsets. Endless white sand ocean beaches lie to the south.
We will be available to guests by phone, text, or email. Either we, or our staff will be at the house when you arrive to walk you through and you will find our house manual inside with detailed instructions on how to use everything.
