This modern 2 bedroom apartment was totally renovated . It is on the third floor of a classic building, located in the heart of Cannes and with a lift (elevator). The apartment is a few steps from Meynadier street, the oldest and most famous pedestrian street in Cannes. It is known for it's outside shops and festival atmosphere, but very quiet at night. This lovely apartment has high ceilings, large windows and double doors opening onto two balconies, one with a quaint street view to the sea and the Cannes old port. This apartment is ideal either for business or vacation, being only a three minute walk from the Film Festival site and beaches. Many of Cannes' most notable restaurants and shops are within a five minute walk, including Cannes' celebrated farmer's market, Forville Market.

A great apartment in a superb location close to the Palais. Everything was spotlessly clean and just what we needed for a busy trade show. Michel was a great host - bien gentil - and despite my phone problems communicating with him that I was already in town, he arrived at the apartment anyway to show me around and ensure everything ran smoothly. Highly recommended!

Wonderful location

We booked this apartment, and realized how close it was to everything! It’s spacious, has everything you would need, and the host, Michel, was available at any time to answer questions. It’s located on Meynard, but at night, you wouldn’t know it! We hardly heard any noises. And there are restaurants, shops and grocery stores within walking distance.

Fantastic and amazing

We had a truly wonderful time in downtown Cannes. We felt very welcome by the Lavigne family as if we had been there before and known them for a long time.The location could not be more perfect, Cannes at our feet! The appartment is beautiful and felt like home from the first day. We will definitely go back when possible! Thank you again so much for everything Michel and making our X-mas a very special one!!!

Location wise this apartment is perfect for TFWA. We enjoyed our stay and on the whole the apartment worked for us. The shower head needs a holder to make it user friendly and another floor mat when 2 of you are staying for a week would also be helpful. More coffee mugs wouldn't go amiss. The entrance, lift and stairwell are in need of a deep clean.

10 day vacation

The apartment is perfectly located in Cannes. Every morning, I walked to the food market for fresh fruit and vegetables, to the boulangerie for my baguette, croissants and pain au chocolat. In the afternoon, I could walk to beach (I liked Okey and le Benitier beaches). The train station is near by and very easy to get to different towns on the riviera, like Juan-les-Pins. Michel was a perfect host. Extremely helpful and available if needed. The apartment was very clean, air conditioners in all rooms and wonderful balconies. I highly recommend this apartment, enjoy!

Great location and spacious apartment

We were there for 5 nights, the main reason why we rented this particular apartment was the elevator, and it just happened to be broken for 3 of these 5 nights - traveling with a baby (stroller) was a huge inconvenience. The owner was helpful and worked on fixing it, but still. The area is a pedestrian area, so being dropped off at the apartment is a challenge we had to walk 300mts to the closest drop off/pick up point - with suitcases and everything this is something to consider. The location otherwise is great, close to restaurants, the beach, you could do everything walking. The apartment is clean, a bit smaller than the pictures made it look like, but comfortable enough for two adults and a baby.

Je suis encore désolé pour le problème d'ascenseur. Par contre, je vous avais bien spécifié de demander à votre taxi ou uber de vous rapprocher le plus possible de l'appartement en demandant l'accès à la rue à la borne d'entrée. Les chauffeurs Niçois ne veulent pas s'enbêter avec cela et vous abandonnent beaucoup plus loin. Vous auriez pu être déposées à moins de 50m de l'appartement en exigeant celà. Je suis heureux que l'appartement de 67 m2 vous ai plu. Encore merci

Nice apartment but a few things to note

I was surprised this was not noted in other reviews. If you have a lot of luggage it's important to know that you cannot be dropped off by the apartment. You will have to walk about half a block. Also, while there are double windows and reasonable noise reduction, there are several bars and restaurants nearby, so it is not completely sound proof. Lastly, while the bathroom has been renovated, the shower head has not been installed. You will have to hold it with one hand while taking a shower. That said, the apartment has a great location and a very nice and responsive host.

Madam, I have taken note of your opinion. As for the noise, unfortunately you have suffered the problems linked to the Rugby World Cup and its supporters. This is the first time in 10 years that someone has made such a remark to me, quite the contrary. For the fact that we cannot access the foot of the building, I explained to you to ask your taxi to enter the street which would take you 30 meters from the door. If he didn't do it, we had to insist and ask him to do his job to the end. (Nice taxis don't like to waste 1 minute and neglect our foreign visitors) For the shower, I'm sorry, in France we often don't place a bar or a shower high up. For me when I go to the USA I find it difficult that there is only one jet fixed in height... But I will take your comment into account and will do what is necessary. With my most sincere thanks

Excellent séjour à Cannes

L'emplacement de l'appartement, nous a permis de visiter et de vivre une semaine à Cannes sans voiture car il est vraiment central dans une rue piétonne. Tous les magasins nécessaires et pour le shopping sont au pied de l'immeuble. Et je n'oublie pas le propriétaire sympathique qui nous a parfaitement reçu. Merci pour ce sejour.

Perfectly situated for business or pleasure in Cannes

I am a business man with a shop on Meynadier street, in the same building as our apartment. I have lived in Cannes all my life and am well known in the local business community. In addition, my wife and daughter also have offices on the first floor of the same apartment building. Our rental apartment is on the third floor.

I grew up in Cannes, in this apartment. We now live outside Cannes but have renovated this apartment for our use when we take retirement. Therefore, the renovation has been done to a very high quality, for our later use. We have chosen to keep this property for our retirement, because of its prime location, minutes to most major services in Cannes, and its ideal size, not too small or too big.

Location, location, location! For our guests, an added advantage is that during business hours, we are easily accessible, just a few metres away, for any questions and advice on local services and events. We know Cannes!
