There is a pebble beach across the road from the house, a small sandy beach is within easy walking distance as is a good pub. A further large sandy beach is available nearby at Monreith.
The immediate area adjoining is remote and unspoilt but with plentiful opportunities for exploring and outdoor pursuits. Lovely seaside property
My friends and I had a wonderful weekend stay at Seabank. The property is homely and cosy (especially once the coal fire is up and running!) and the large kitchen areas made cooking and dining together very straightforward for our group of six. The local pub is less than 10 minutes' walk, although make sure to take a torch if you'll be returning in the dark! I would highly recommend Seabank to anyone looking for a base to explore the nearby walks and sights, or just for a quiet getaway.

Stunning house in a stunning location
The house is beautiful and so well equipped that you want for nothing while there. The view from the window is mesmerising. You can find a little shop in about 10-15 min drive in either direction, it’s fairly remote so you need to plan ahead for meals and so on but that was the draw for us. The coastline is so rugged and beautiful and a trip to the Galloway forest is highly recommended (although I probably wouldn’t recommend taking the raiders track in a VW Golf with 5 people and a dog!). We didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to book again. Thank you!
