The structure is a "bohemian" apartment on the hills, near the city center, just twenty minutes walk from the Ponte Vecchio in Florence. A large crooked pine and a large magnolia tree mark the entrance to the house.

Fin lejlighed til par på ferie. Meget smagfuld indrettet med et velindrettet køkken, hvor der er alt hvad man skal bruge. Meget imødekommende vært, hvor kommunikation på engelsk var rigtig fint. Man føler sig meget velkommen.Lejligheden ligger i roligt kvarter, op ad en stejl bakke, så kan ikke anbefales til dårligt gående.

Es war alles perfekt

Ein sehr schönes Apartment mit kleiner Terrasse, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, gut ausgestattete Küche und schickes Bad. Abends ist es ruhig und man kann dem Trubel der Stadt entfliehen. Trotzdem ist es nicht weit bis zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten von Florenz. Sehr gut ist das „Tipp Tap“ System in den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln: einfach Kreditkarte an den Scanner im Bus halten und man hat eine Fahrkarte. Unten an der Straße ist die Haltestelle und es fahren häufig Busse.

Lovely, modern garden home in Florence!!

Elana’s Green Nest gets a 10 out of 10 in our book. As we weighed our options for lodging in Florence, we wanted a clean, quiet, upscale centrally, located accommodation. Comfortable and classy. If you are looking for the same, stop now and book your stay at the green nest. The Florence born host Elana has impeccable English, and welcomed us to her private apartment at the back of her home with the upmost hospitality. Imagine your own shaded terrace, completely modern kitchen, and bathroom in a safe and lovely old Italian neighborhood only blocks away from the center of downtown Florence. I felt a little like we were living in ancient magic garden with all the modern amenities to make traveling a joy. From the shower, lovely linens on the bed, the washing machine and AC, we didn’t have a want in the world, except that we had scheduled our stay for two or three days longer. Should you decide to book the green nest, please tell Elena that Sally and Henry sent you!!

10 unforgettable days in green Florence

It is a wonderfully quiet place in the garden city of Florence, but close to the city center, yet you can get out of the city to Siena or Chianti in minutes. Perfect choice if you also want to visit Florence and Tuscany. There are two comfortable apartments decorated in a classic Tuscan style, all perfect. This cool ground floor apartment overlooks the pleasant green garden. The great rooftop apartment’s terrace offers fantastic panorama. The dome of the Duomo and the Torre del Gallo dominate the magnificent view. Elena, the host is extremely kind and helpful, thanks to her for 10 wonderful days.
