Holiday home located near Frigiliana, province of Malaga, Andalucia.

This picturesque holiday home is situated very close to the beach, in the magnificent landscape that surrounds the white town of Frigiliana. It is provided with two bedrooms, one with a double bed and an ensuite with shower, and the other with two single beds. Both bedrooms are characterised by vintage touches and comfortable furniture. There is one more bathroom with both shower and bathtub. The cosy living room is decorated, just like the rest of the house, with modern furniture that mixes with rustic final touches. The parquet of the floor adds a warm atmosphere to the property. The fully-equipped independent kitchen is also furnished with a dining table with enough space for the four guests of this holiday home. The property is provided with central heating and fans.

On the outside, you will be welcomed by a covered porch provided with an outdoor dining area, which leads off into a terrace with a comfortable chill-out area. You will find the private pool once you go downstairs, as well as a picturesque entrance right before the front door.

The access to the holiday home is possible via a 2 km-long unpaved lane.

In the heart of nature

The property surpassed our expectations. It is beaitifully decorated and the architects have been very clever with the layout. Wonderful outside area for relaxation and dining. The pool was very private and welcoming. The only restaurant in the village had exceptional food. Very interesting history to this village which was abondened for many years.

Lovely village

We enjoyed our week in nature, quietness and very beautiful village. The kids loved all the butterflies, dragon flies and gekkos, and the secrets hidden all over the place. We read up on the place online, and we would have welcomed even more informatin on sight.The place is far away from all other things, and a car is definitely needed. There are many nice walks, like continuing on the road through the village. At the bottom there is a creek, where we had a wonderful walk with the kids. We got lots of useful information from the couple running the B&B next door. They also served good food and cold beers. The Bar Acebuchal also served good food, and they closed the kitchen around 17.00. We would loved it if there was a small store/ kiosk selling a selection of groceries, water and toiletpaper. All in all, we found peace and quiet, exactly what we were looking for.

Wunderschönes, abgelegenes, traditionelles Dorf. Perfekter Ort für ein paar erholsame Tage. Wunderschöne Gegend zum Wandern und viele schöne Dörfer zum Besuchen. Da das Haus sehr alt ist, reichen die kleinen, altmodischen elektrischen Heizkörper an kalten Tagen nicht ganz aus, daher würde ich empfehlen, Holz für den Ofen zu kaufen. Außerdem lebt ein großer Hund in einem Haus nebenan, was leider ziemlich laut sein kann. Trotzdem haben wir unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und ich würde es weiterempfehlen.

Das Ferienhaus liegt im Dorf Acebuchal, ca. 16 km vom Meer entfernt, Wir waren dort 1 Woche Anfang September zur Erholung als Paar mit unserem erwachsenen Sohn und einem Freund. Die Lage des Dorfes in den Bergen ist fantastisch, es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Morgens wurde man von mehreren Hähnen geweckt. Die Abwicklung war völlig problemlos, die Wohnung erstreckt sich über mehrere Ebenen (drei (!) Terrassen), es ist alles wie auf den Fotos, man hat alles hier was man braucht. Der einzige Negativpunkt sind die durchgelegenen Matrazen, diese sollten ausgetauscht werden. Ansonsten wirkich alles top. Noch ein Wort zur Zufahrt. Ich würde dringend die Anfahrt über Frigiliana empfehlen, diese ist deutlich kürzer und sehr viel weniger holprig als die aus Competa, die wir auch ein einziges Mal ausprobiert haben. In jedem Fall würde ich ein SUV empfehlen, viele fahren aber auch mit normalen PKW hier hoch.

Excellent séjour

Nous avons passé 2 semaines de vacances idéales. La maison est très agréable, joliment décorée, conforme aux photos et aux descriptions. La piscine est très appréciable ! Le village est très typique, perdus dans la montagne, on a adoré malgré l'accès un peu chaotique par un chemin de terre. L'histoire du village nous a séduits et il mérite vraiment le détour ainsi que le Bar restaurant ! Antonio nous a réservé un accueil sympathique et est très réactif. Nous recommandons à 100% !!!

Meine Familie und ich (Mutter, Vater und 2 Kinder: 9 und 12 Jahre) hatten eine schöne Zeit! Wir haben 7 Tage in diesem Haus verbracht und alles genossen: Das winzige Dorf ist einfach wunderschön, super ruhig und umgeben von Natur. Viele Vögel die ganze Zeit überall. Wir liebten die 3 Terrassen, auf denen Sie sich entspannen oder zu Abend essen können. Wir haben den Grill 2 mal benutzt. Unser Gastgeber Antonio war bei Bedarf sehr nett und hilfsbereit und seine Bar El Acebuchal ist unglaublich! Super Mittagessen und Sangria! Das einzige, was ich hinzufügen möchte: Wir haben die falsche Route genommen, um von Malaga zu unserer Wohnung zu fahren, weil wir dachten, wir müssten nach Competa und ein Taxichauffeur in Malaga sagte uns, wir sollten über Competa und nicht über Frigiliana fahren! Er wollte nicht, dass wir den harten Weg gehen, aber wir haben es schließlich getan, weil wir in Competa gemerkt haben, dass wir nach Frigiliana müssen! Es war eine 40-minütige Offroad-Fahrt auf den gruseligsten Pfaden, die ich je gesehen habe! Wenn Sie jemals die niederländische Fernsehsendung 'Gevaarlijkste wegen' gesehen haben..., nun... das war genau das!! Wir waren so glücklich, als wir endlich sicher ankamen! Am nächsten Tag stellten wir fest, dass die „richtige“ Route im Vergleich zu dem, was wir am Tag zuvor erlebt hatten, super machbar war: nur 1,7 km Offroad und viel breitere Wege. Wir genossen das süße Dorf Frigiliana und die schönen Strände von Nerja! Einfach ein schöner Urlaub!

Ein brillanter Aufenthalt in einer gemütlichen Unterkunft, geschmackvoll eingerichtet in einem Dorf mitten im Nirgendwo, ein wahrer Genuss für diejenigen, die Ruhe suchen und das authentische Spanien entdecken möchten. Der kleine private Pool ist großartig. Antonio, der Besitzer, ist sehr gastfreundlich (danke für Ihr ausgezeichnetes hausgemachtes Brot) und ist auch der Koch des Dorfrestaurants, das wir auch empfehlen.
