I honestly could not praise this place more, absolutely spotless, all kitchen utensils needed were there and clean. The property manager, Julian, was good as gold and helped whenever we needed and gave great suggestions for the local area. Such a lovely home and would love to come back again in the near future!

This property is a high standard with great detail to ensure a very comfortable stay. Would highly recommend
You must be mobile to manage the stairs
They truly are steep and severe

This property is a lovely little cottage perfect for a couple or small family (max 4 people). It is in a great location in the old town of Poole, it is 1 minute from the harbour and restaurants. The cottage was very clean and very comfortable. The stairs are steep, as others have noted, but that wasn’t a problem for us and made the place even more charming.

The cottage is located within a few minutes stroll of the bars/restaurants along the quay. It is tucked away and so is lovely and quiet at night for restful sleep - apart from the seagulls! Beautifully clean with everything you need. Julian provided all the information we needed and lots of wonderful recommendations. The added touch of a welcome basket and milk in the fridge was much appreciated. We had a wonderful stay.

Gorgeous cottage. Very clean with everything you need. Not only did we get some treats but our doggies did too. Stairs quite narrow and steep so had to be very careful going up and down.
Could do with a gate to shut dogs in kitchen. Would definitely stay again. Very cosy. Thank you.

The property is over 3 floors with the shower and cloakroom on the ground floor. The stairs between the floors are a little daunting being spiral with narrow treads, I would say definitely not suitable for the elderly and are more than a little precarious to navigate, that aside, this is a beautiful well appointed cottage and in a great location for shops, restaurants and dog walks.

We had a great week exploring Poole's Old Town and quay from Pickwick Cottage! Booking and communication was quick and easy. Cottage exactly as described and beautifully presented with extra touches and treats for both human and dog which were above expectation and much appreciated. The location is great, set amongst the Georgian old town which was very tranquil but only minutes walk from the quay which had loads going to keep everyone entertained. Also a great jumping off point to explore the local area. Thanks!!!

Julian.
A smashing little property, right in the middle of Poole's Old Town with very quick access to the quayside, shops and restaurants. The property itself is characterful, but spotlessly clean. We stayed as 2 adults and two kids (15 & 12). The property is over three floors with a very tight stairway - which was fine for us, but be warned! Communications with Julian have been excellent. In all, a great stay with access to lots of amenities and within a short distance of the New Forest and the Jurassic Coast.

Small but perfectly formed & beautifully presented.
Pickwick cottage was absolutely spot on for our weekend catch up with friends & family. Finished & furnished to a very high standard throughout & in a great location. Lovely welcome pack from the hosts, with very clear instructions on how everything worked. Just one note of caution- the stairs are VERY steep, so not really suitable for kids 5 or under. Our boys are 9 & 6, and the youngest needed supervision to go down them.

Arrived to an immaculately cleaned beautiful home, with a welcome box of goodies/essentials that meant we didn’t need to rush off to the supermarket! The house was small but perfectly formed, with three comfy beds (which is rare to find!) The stairs are narrow and steep, but we expected that, you soon get used to them. The house was perfectly located to explore both Poole and the wider Jurassic coastline. The host Julian was responsive to messages and couldn’t have been more helpful. All in all, a fabulous stay and we would thoroughly recommend to all.

Pickwick Cottage is a wonderful place to stay for a break.Spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated the cottage has everything you could possibly need. The wonderfully helpful host Julian provided a very much appreciated welcome pack. The cottage is situated in the heart of the old town and so is conveniently placed for visiting the many eateries on offer,it even comes with the added bonus of a parking space.Such a great find 😀
What a lovely weekend away we have had at Pickwick Cottage. The cottage was warm and welcoming on arrival, and the joy of seeing the hamper and milk in the fridge, just started our holiday on a happy note. Even our dog received a special package. Julian is a very attentive and thoughtful host. Pickwick cottage is in a great location, the Old Town is lovely to explore, close to a Sainsburys local and lots of pubs. The walk along the harbour front with our dog to a park was a great way to start the day. I cannot fault anything, only that it ended too quickly. Thank you Julian.

Lovely characterful cottage in great central location. Very clean and well supplied with everything one might need. Really helpful owner. Very steep stairs to bedrooms that would not suit anyone with small children or mobility issues. Otherwise fantastic

What makes this property unique
The railway station, ferry terminal and bus station are all within walking distance, as is the Quay - We do have a 'check in window' we can be flexible with these times. Especially as we are so close to the port for cross channel ferries we appreciate that the Cherbourg to Poole is a late arrival but are more than happy to accommodate any guests who are using this service.
