Inviting 6-Bed Farmhouse

Chez Bouquet is a beautiful 250 year old farmhouse converted to a high standard as a holiday home. Set at the end of a cul-de-sac in a small hamlet in South West France consisting of just ten houses.Our visitors feel it has a homely feeling, unlike impersonal hotels.

The house is completely secluded, set in more than two acres, plus extensive woods, and completely surrounded by sunflower fields and vineyards, producing wine, cognac, and our local aperitif pineau de Charentes.Tastings can be arranged.

We are only 20 minutes from Royan on the coast with its beautiful beaches, also St-Georges-de -Didonne
which is much quieter.
We are also close to the picturesque port of Mortagne-sur-Gironde, which has restaurants on the harbour side.

Cognac is less than 28 miles away, and self explanatory.The ancient town of Saintes is 20 minutes away, with a famous amphitheatre, and good shops and restaurants.
It is worth taking the ferry from Royan across to the Medoc, and visit the world famous wine chateaux such a Lafite, Latour,Petrus, Margaux, and Mouton Rothschild, all a short drive from the ferry.
