Ideal rental house for a big family

Because being our favorite rental house in Royan, we now rented it a second time. A beautiful house with big rooms, comfortable beds and an exceptional big garden in the centre of St George de Didonne. The shops and the beach with all kind of activities for children are at a short walking distance. In this house we have a feeling of being in the countryside.

Beautiful House

We enjoyed our Star in this lovely House. We had a great time here as a group. The staff for the checkin was very nice and forthcoming. The house is quite old, but nicely renovated. It has some little curiosities, like only 2 bathrooms in the upper floor plus the shower in the big “dorm”, but we liked it nonetheless and it definitely has some Charme. We would definitely come back.

Un logis magnifique et très accueillant

Treize amis de longue date, réunis dans ce logis (deux jours et demi) pour fêter un départ en retraite et le nouvel an 2025.Avis unanime : ce logis est une perle rare.Très beau logis, confortable, spacieux, chaleureux avec une cheminée très agréable dans un salon vaste et accueillant. L'équipement de la cuisine est parfait pour cuisiner et recevoir 14 personnes. Beaucoup de charme et de sérénité. Y séjourner offre un pur moment de plaisir et de partage. La possibilité de pouvoir garer dans l'enceinte de la propriété plusieurs véhicules est appréciable.A deux pas, tous les commerces (notamment un excellent traiteur), et la plage . Très bon accueil à notre arrivée où tout est mis en oeuvre pour faciliter notre séjour. Merci aux propriétaires pour la délicate attention (pineau, chocolats et meilleurs voeux).Au final, un séjour court mais inoubliable.

Grande maison de charme au coeur de Saint Georges de Didonne

4 jours dans cette spacieuse bâtisse au charme ancien et élégant, située à 50m des commerçants et à 100m de la plage. Derrière ses grilles, un joli jardin de graviers peut accueillir 5 voitures sans problèmes et invite à la sieste et à l'apéro entre amis dans la partie ombragée. La maison a du caractère et possède un très agréable salon avec une large cheminée. La cuisine-salle à manger qui donne aussi sur une cour intérieure, possède tous les atouts pour des repas bruyants et joyeux. Elle est dotée de tous les ustensiles nécessaires pour cuisiner ! Les chambres (une au rdc, les autres à l'étage), bien chauffées en hiver, sont grandes et lumineuses. Les salles de bain sont parfaites.

Très bel emplacement près des plages de la Gironde. Maison avec du charme et bien équipée. Penser à prendre son chéquier pour la caution, la CB n'est pas utilisable.

Le calme et l’espace au cœur de la station

Grande maison ancienne qui a été divisée en plusieurs logements. Un petit jardin d’un côté, une terrasse de l’autre pour les repas. Les chambres sont grandes et agréables. Au calme et pourtant à deux pas de la principale rue commerçante de Saint- Georges et de son marché. Plage à 150 m, il faut traverser le boulevard qui longe la mer, mais il est bien aménagé pour la sécurité des piétons. Séjour en tout point agréable. Petit bémol pour la personne chargée de l’accueil. Prend les gens de haut et se montre cassante.

A beautiful house in a lovely place

The house is right in the middle of a nice town, which has good shops and a daily food market in summer. It is also minutes from the lovely beach. Yet the house and garden are so beautiful and spacious and tranquil that it almost feels like you are in the middle of the countryside. The house is also extremely well equipped for a big group. I cannot imagine a nicer place to spend a large family holiday.

un bon séjour

Mous avons passé un bon séjour dans cette très belle propriété, très bien équipée, agréable par temps de grosse chaleur, très grande, avec un super dortoir pour les enfants, avec le centre ville et la plage principale accessible facilement à pieds. Nous avons toutefois été déçus par le coin, avec les plages de l'estuaire de la Gironde vaseuses à marée basse et extrêmement fréquentées. Nous avons préféré les plages de la Côte sauvage à 30 minutes, malgré leur caractère dangereux. Nous y avons choisi les plages surveillées. Un bon séjour donc, mais pas de coup de coeur, avec un prix bien plus élevé que les maisons en Bretagne que nous choisissons d'habitude.

Maison de vacanse idéale pour une grande famille

Nous gardons une très belle souvenir de cet maison à St George. Malgré l'emplacement en plein centre, on se réveille avec les chants d'oiseau et un sentiment d'être à la campagne. Rien ne manque. La plage est à 5min avec le club pour les petits. Le centre et le marché tout près. Les chambres sont grandes avec des bon lits. A recommander sans hésitation ! Ingrid R

Une surprise d'anniversaire pour ma maman qui habite Saint Georges. Elle rêvait de pouvoir inviter tous ses amis. C'est fait, nous avons passé un super week-end, la maison est fonctionnelle pour les 20 personnes de notre groupe.

Spacious house with garden in perfect location.

We were 6 adults and 4 children, but there was more than enough room to house all of us. And though the house was built in 1701, it offered all luxury that is needed. The kitchen was well equipped. The garden is safe for small children, being walled all around. The village is authentic and almost exclusively populated by French tourists. Even the smallest children could walk to the beach in a few minutes. Simply a perfect house.

Belle demeure ancienne très bien entretenue et équipée pour une quinzaine de personnes. Proximité de la plage et des commerces de centre-ville:boulangerie,patisseries,traiteur,marché... Maison à recommander pour des regroupements familiaux(notre cas) ou amicaux.Un effectif minimum pour bien apprécier les capacités de cette très vaste demeure historique.Très satisfaits de notre séjour lors de cette semaine de Juillet très ensoleillée.
