Tucked away in the renovated “ALMADA LIVING” building located on the famous historic street, Rua do Almada, which was the first major street to be opened in 1761, outside the 14th century Roman walls, Belahora provides you with absolute tranquility in the center of the city .
Belahora is a spacious apartment with two bedrooms, one suite with a balcony and the other with an external bathroom, ideal for four adults.
In addition to the living room, we also offer other seating areas in Belahora, including a specially decorated tea room, where you can enjoy a cup of tea while reading some books and a square patio with wooden furniture, where you can enjoy the sun and fresh air. while drinking some wine.

We choose all the furniture and decoration pieces of our heart. They are from different parts of this planet and from different cultures. Many of them are handicrafts, old or new, based on tradition or inspiration; they come from nature to us, through the creation of the human, which we respect.

Beautiful apartment in the heart of the city

Overall the apartment the wonderful. Cons: The communications with the host(s) was problematic. We'd received a message 2 days before arriving that the keys would be turned over to us at the unit upon arrival. I sent a message (immediately) saying when we expected to arrive in Porto (early) and asking what time we should meet. I never got a response to that message. When we arrived in Porto we went to the apartment, but no one was there. I tried calling the number provided and it was out of service. I tried multiple times to contact the host, but no email response and still unable to call. 20 minutes AFTER the official check-in time, I started to contact VRBO and finally got a message from the host with the codes for the lockbox get into. Very frustrating and irritating, particularly being unable to contact the host. Also, a quick, non-critical, question during our stay was never answered either. The beds are very firm - firmer than we prefer, though that seemed to be the case in many cases all over Portugal. There is currently a very major construction project that has blocked some of the streets nearby that made getting around a little more difficult than usual, but just an inconvenience, not a major problem.

Wonderful apartment in a great location

The apartment is lovely and comfortable. The inner courtyard is perfect place to start and end the day. It is in a convenient location to get around Porto, with lots of great restaurants just a few doors away. Reservations are necessary. Communication regarding the check-in process was slow and confusing as the information we received via email was not accurate. Ultimately, we were able to access (even early) the apartment with no issue. The owners actually stopped by to see if all was well. We would recommend this place to anyone visiting Porto.

Lovely apartment and a great location

The apartment is wonderful and nicely appointed. The elevator access was quite useful for anyone with mobility issues. There's an abundance of climate control devices throughout, so our stay was very comfortable regardless of the weather was. The location is great. Less than 10 minutes to the Metro and within short walking distance of many attractions and restaurants. Self check-in probably works well 99% of the time, but did not work so well for us (our phone was stolen in Lisbon). Communication could have been better and more timely, as we had to wait 2 hours to get the access codes thanks to the help of a good samaritan. There were no manuals for the appliances, which would have been helpful. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay in Porto and I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. PS, if you wish to dine at Muu or KOB (both within 5 minutes), book well in advance.
