We couldn’t have been more pleased with the apartment. The apartment has a modern style while still maintaining the historical architecture. Stepping from the modern living area onto the old world classic balcony was like entering a different era. The location was perfect for being within walking distance of so many popular spots. Marc and Fernanda were quick to respond to our questions and requests. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again some day.

Perfect location

Beautiful building in a very central location. Large living space . Clean and comfortable with two very good size bathrooms. The air conditioning in every room and the extensive wardrobe space was great. The lift was a great advantage and a must for us with luggage. The 500 bus stops more or less outside the building. A great stay and I would recommend. Please take care getting out of the lift as the downward stairs are to your immediate left.

Fabulous apartment in great location

Marc was a great host and the apartment was as described. Check in and out was very smooth. Would highly recommend as it is in a great location near Sao Bento station and there are plenty of Restaurants. Thanks Marc for a lovely stay.

We enjoyed this central location. Property fit all needs for two couples enjoying Porto for our first time. We were within walking distance to churches, waterfront, stores and restaurant. Easy access to Douro, ocean, and port caves. We had a magical time. Would stay here again!

Beautiful condo ❤️

Our stay was very comfortable, the apartment was beautiful with high windows and ceilings made you feel like you were away from the norm. Was central to everything, host replied to all our messages no problems with check in or out.

Lovely apartment

My husband, my nephew, a friend from France & I stayed here for 4 nights. The apartment was spotless and perfectly located. We had some wonderful meals at restaurants just steps away. Starbucks is nearby as well! (ONLY complaint with Porto is that Starbucks doesn’t open early enough.) :-) Great place, great experience.

Centrally Located

This unique, spacious property was centrally located, which was a huge plus. We felt in the heart of everything. It also had an elevator which is important for travellers with medium or large sized luggage. What would have been awesome is, if it had a washing machine too, but that’s only important if your stay there is at the beginning of your trip or the end when you are in need of doing laundry. We discovered a laundromat near by which was good. We loved our stay in Porto, it’s an amazing city.

Porto Apt

Nice comfy 2 bedroom city apt with loft with bed. Full kitchen but you need to bring your own condiments, coffee & tea, paper towels & napkins & water. Both Bathrooms had liquid soap at sink so bring your own shampoo & body soap. Loved the big living room windows & small balcony on the busy city street. Great location & hilly10 minute walk to train & river. Great bars, restaurants, shopping all around. Street behind is lively with great shops. Nice for 2 couples.

Great location

Apartment is very well situated, and easy to get around to sites, restaurants, shopping etc. The pictures are very representative of the apartment. The kitchen is quite small...a hallway really, and so can be difficult if more than one person is trying to do something there. There is little storage space for kitchen items that you may bring in with you, or for non refrigerated groceries. It is a very comfortable space overall, and the owner was very responsive when we had a small issue at check in. Porto is tough with a car, which we had, so just plan to be prepared for that.

Porto Perfect

The location of the apartment is perfect for a stay in Porto. It is close to shops, restaurants, and sights to see. The apartment was clean and the agent and owner were very responsive when we had a question or issue. A couple of interesting items: * the refrigerator does not have a freezer, which is odd. This was a minor problem and one of us needed ice for pain. * the one bed did not have a top sheet. We understand that can be typical in Europe but we prefer a top sheet on the bed But we give it 5 stars for all the amenities provided and the location.

Great location but the unit was not comfortable.

One bedroom had extremely uncomfortable bed with plastic matress protector. The 2nd bedroom is a sealed box. No ventilation at all. The 3rd bedroom is not really a room. It is a platform on top of the kitchen it in the living room. Kitchen is small but adequate although there are limited numbers of dishes.

Porto stay

The apartment is beautifully furnished. location is great. Close to train station, good restaurants and river. My only negative is that the bathrooms could have been cleaner and the lack of some amenities, no cleaning supplies, paper towels etc. Nothing in the kitchen except salt, a few packets of dish washer cubes and soap, 6 sugar packets and some leftover ground coffee( I like to be able to wipe down some things before use and usually leave a place cleaner than arrival), only one trash bag. If it was a longer rental I can see buying things but not for a short 4 night stay. There is a small store nearby for basics if you are staying longer esp. for toilet paper. Would I stay there again,yes. But I would be more prepared. Porto is beautiful and the Douro Valley is a stunner.

Misleading advertising

Great location! The add says “parking available “ but it is 2 blocks away and cost us 174euros for a 3 day stay! Absolutely ridiculous! The woman that met us was very nice but we had no water and had to wait an hour for her to figure out how to turn it on. It also advertises that both bedrooms come with full bathrooms and AC but the 2nd room has no AC and the bathroom is probably 20-30 feet down the hall! Very disappointing! In terms of cleanliness it wasn’t overly dirty but the floors definitely could have used a vacuuming! Nothing major but overall disappointing!

Ups and downs

Great location for sightseeing, shopping, transport links. The apartment is stylishly furnished and has air-con in the lounge area. During our 5 day stay the lift to this 2nd floor apartment only worked on four occasions! Most disappointing when you arrive with heavy suitcases and there are six flights of stairs to climb. Although the diminutive Rita did a sterling job getting one heavy suitcase up stairs. Make sure you are fit and healthy. Outside there were extensive road works, as well as, excavation work for an extension of the underground system. Luckily a local shopkeeper explained about the sirens and explosions, which rattled the windows during the day. We only used the kitchen for breakfast and snacks, a tea towel would have been useful.
