Beautiful Positano

Great views. Good location. Easy to access local bus to all areas in Amalfi Coast. Bathrooms need some renovations.

Amazing stay and view

This charming villa was just as represented, the view is just as shown. We had an amazing time and loved the restaurant right up the road so much that we went back 2x. Monica gave us a ton of information about the buses, etc., to get back up to the villa after a day in lower Positano. We would definitely stay again!

Family trip

My son is studying abroad for in Florence for the semester & we met him in Positano. Our stay was amazing & Monica the host was extremely helpful & responsive to all our questions. The villa is a little dated, but clean. We would definitely stay there again given the opportunity & the view is just amazing!

Amazing experience for our first trip to Positano! Monica helped us with all our details. She met us at our transportation drop off and helped us navigate. She provided us with insight and recommendations to make our experience exceptional. The views are beautiful .Highly recommend!

Positano

The apartment was very large (3) bedrooms (3) full baths. Beautiful views of the Mediterranean Sea and the town below. The property is in need of some repair. Two of the showers don’t have doors or curtains and the shower heads need replaced. Also the beds could use some upgrading of mattress’s. The host was courteous and helpful. Not sure I would choose the same property again. I would probably look for something closer to the water.

It is evident in the description of the listing, that the accommodation is about 20 minutes walk from the beach. I believe that this detail was not considered or little attention was paid when the booking request was sent. Everything went well with you and your family from our point of view anyways. We thank you also for the suggestions given. We will try to put them into practice. We have no hesitation in recommending you as guests for other vacation rentals.

The view alone is worth the price

Finding a reasonable villa type property that can comfortably accommodate three adult couples in an expensive tourist haven like Positano isn't easy but Villa Conchiglia filled the bill. It is in upper Positano so we expected stairs and lots of walking but once we figured out the local bus system it wasn't bad at all. Monica, the host, was incredibly helpful from booking through the end of our stay and deserves a lot of credit for helping make our stay comfortable. While a little dated, the villa was furnished beautifully and the upper and lower level balconies were the perfect place to look out over the Mediterranean. The view is spectacular! There were restaurants, small groceries and that all important bus stop right at the top of the stairs from the villa. The city is magical and we enjoyed our five days at Conchiglia and recommended it highly. We hired a beautiful boat for a tour of the coast with stop offs in Amalfi, to swim in a gratto and eat at a lovely seaside restaurant that was the highlight of the trip.

Great location, plenty of space for a family of 6, and a very kind host! Monica took great care of us, booked our shuttle to/from Naples and met us early when the times changed (we squeezed in a Pompei trip, rearranged the shuttle time and she made it all work!) Thanks for a great trip, we would definitely recommend staying here if you’re visiting Positano!

Great View Old Villa

Monica our host was great. She helped us in all aspects of our stay and made our stay very good. BUT the property needs a major refreshing. Bathrooms where outdated with no curtains or exclosures. TV did. It work Towels where old and hard Bed in window room was on the floor All beds where old and Worn Glasses where old and musty and maybe dirty Villa needed a new paint job Curtains where old and musty Bedroom door did not close and stayed open Villa has great potential but owner needs to update. Monica saved our visit without her help our Trip would be ruined Be sure to check for updates on property

I thank kim and her husband for being perfect guests. Kim has been friendly, respectful and very easy to communicate with. We had a very enjoyable chat when we met. I hope they will keep a good memory of their trip. All the house rules have been perfectly followed. The house has been left in a excellent shape upon departure. I will be delighted to have them staying at our accommodation again.
