A large, spacious house suitable for large groups and families, celebrations and reunions. We consider some parties stag and Hen ( well behaved parties with a maximum number). The property is secure in the gate with a drive suitable for 4 cars.

Plenty of Space... and then some:)

Out stay in Castle House was wonderful. The home is very large. There is plenty of space for those moments when you need to step away from the insanity of family and plenty of comfortable space for the whole family to be together. Beds are all very comfortable. Kitchen is awesome - plenty large to all cook together. That was a lot of fun. The town was wonderful. Food shopping was within walking distance - an easy walk:). Other food was easy to find. We loved "Union Arms" a a pub that was right up the street. Getting around Manchester was easy enough, as well. Lizzie is an excellent host - perfectly balancing our needs for care and privacy. Great place to stay!!!

Perfect for large groups

A group of 10 of us stayed here for the weekend and it was perfect!The access/location details were easy to follow with no issues. The location is in easy access to the city centre and easy to get a taxi to and froma nd to order food.The property was clean with everything we needed. The beds were SO comfy and there was more than enough space for all of us.The one thing i will recommend is make sure you take your own mirrors - there isn't that many.The only thing that was an issue was some of the plugs in the bedrooms didn't work so had to use an extension lead from other rooms to use ele electrical items (straighteners) or to charge phones. I have notified the own about this.I will be more than happy to stay here again.

Stag Group base near Manchester

We were in Manchester for a stag with group of 13. Property was a great size, good number of showers and bedrooms plus good socialising space. It's bigger than the photos make it look and there is extra bedding options if needed. Easy taxi into the city or for driving to activities around Manchester area. It's the right balance of clean and hygienic but not so polished and perfect you're worried about it. Of the four showers, 2 are brilliant and two a little iffy on temperature but it's not a big issue. Everything you need in the kitchen plus a dishwasher and cleaning bits to make it easy to leave as you found it.
