Kick back and relax in this comfortable, nicely furnished, Gulf-front one-bedroom, one-bathroom unit. Featuring tile floors throughout, this bright and airy condo comfortably sleeps up to 4 guests with a king-size bed in the bedroom and a fabric sofa sleeper in the living room.

The living room also includes a 40” TV with a DVD player, perfect for movie nights, while the bedroom offers a ceiling fan for added comfort. The fully equipped kitchen comes with a standard drip coffee maker, making it easy to enjoy your morning cup before heading to the beach. The bathroom features a tub/shower combination for relaxing after a day in the sun.

Holiday Surf 214 also offers a large dining table, ideal for family meals of any size. Step out onto your private balcony to watch dolphins play in the surf and take in the breathtaking beach and ocean views.

This condo includes internet access, as well as bath and kitchen towels provided for your comfort. During your stay, you’ll have access to a fantastic selection of on-site amenities, including a heated pool, two lighted tennis courts, a BBQ grilling area, shuffleboard, exercise rooms, saunas, and coin-operated laundry facilities. Guests will also enjoy complimentary beach service (March–October), which includes two chairs and an umbrella set up for you daily on the beach. A convenient towel-exchange laundry service is available during your stay—simply check with the front desk for scheduled days.

The cons were that the ice maker didn't work and they never had ice available downstairs as well as no ice machine. This was a huge inconvenience. Overall the room was clean and there was extra sheets and towels. The free beach service was great. The people at the front desk were very friendly.

We have made sure to have maintenance work on the ice maker in the unit, and usually when there is an issue like that we would not charge for the ice we usually have for sale at the front desk. During your stay there was actually a shortage of ice in the area and we were not able to get a delivery from our vendors. That usually does not happen, so we are sorry for the inconvenience.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The AC was great. Ocean view was good - but could not see the beach since it was 2nd floor. Balcony furniture could use an update. The mirrors!! Especially in the bed room need to go. Unit was comfortable- but for the same price as updated units - it felt dated. We didn’t use the kitchen much - so I’m not sure if it was well stocked. Basic essentials were fine.

June Family Vacation

It's located off the main strip so it has more of a private feel to it. Not a wild crew like some in PCB. Everyone is super friendly including the staff. Only con I have for this Unit is the couch is very flat and not comfy to sit on. The King size bed really needs to be replaced. We noticed it was leaning and when I checked to see why I saw it was being held up by Bricks! Other then that it always has everything we need and is beach front. Will be back!!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love Destin - however this room needs some deep cleaning - the area rug is filthy & should be thrown out - the floors were also filthy & needs steam cleaning (bottom of our socks were black), the springs in the sofa sleeper are broke and stains on the upholstered chair. The kitchen was clean & the bed sheets were clean. The pool was very nice & furniture around the pool was nice. However I would not recommend this Condo unit #214 to anyone.

The floors were dirty, there were light switch’s that did not work , two light bulbs in the bathroom that were out and a plug in the bedroom that came out of the wall when we tried to insert a lamp cord into it.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to HSRC for about ten years. We have loved all the units previously. When we arrived the bed had only sheets. There was a thin blanket in the closet that we used. The bedroom furniture was extremely outdated and the bed felt somewhat unsteady and with minimal support. The tile floor throughout was sticky and had some sand There were no rugs in the unit except a small one under the coffee table. The cookware was extremely worn. The refrigerator door was on the wrong side. We were trapped between the wall/frig when door was open. This second floor unit was directly above the pool and tables so there was no privacy on the balcony.

Worst Vacation Rental ever!!!!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental was nasty. Had to call the front desk to get housekeeping to come clean the shower head. It had white crusty substance on it. Furniture in the rental was old and it made creaking noises when you sat or laid on it. The appliances were horribly nasty. Refrigerator was sooooo old and disgusting it had started to rust on the outside of the fridge. I took pics of it. This rental was HORRIBLE!!!

Good location but very dated unit 214

Rust covered the appliances in the kitchen, the blinds were held together with paper clips and the furniture was old and uncomfortable. We asked to be moved but there were no other units available. Over all the resort was okay but this unit was unsatisfactory. We would not stay here again.

Get a Mattress Topper

Great location and right on the beach. Actual condo was dirty, kitchen cabinets were falling off and the mattress was hard as a rock. We got a mattress topper from Walmart and that helped a decent amount. It was an affordable price and we were doing a last minute booking. Would not recommend unless you’re looking for more of a camping experience with an attractive price.

Won't be going back

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: If you value a good night's rest I wouldn't book this room. The master bed and couch we're both uncomfortable. It was hard to sleep through the night and woke up with sore backs. The fridge didn't get very cold. I did like that 2 beach chairs and an umbrella were included with the stay but you had to get to the beach by 7:15am in order to reserve them. It's a first come first serve. If you needed extra chairs you had to pay them everyday. They didn't provide extra toliet paper, paper towels, or trash bags. So if you ran out you had to buy more. The air conditioner worked great so it was always cool which is a plus. It was in a good location as far as driving and it wasn't hard to merge into the main traffic when leaving for dinner in the evening. It was a little bit of a walk to get to the ocean but not too bad. Overall, we would rather pay a little more and get a nicer condo with better beds/amenities.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The overall building and location was good but our room was not. The room was very dated and not well maintained. Furniture and appliances seemed to be the cheapest that they could find. The mattress was like sleeping on plywood. The shower drain didn’t drain well so I removed the drain and cleaned out all the hair. The space just felt dirty. This review is mainly related to room, the property itself and not the overall property. I did not have much interaction with property staff due to COVID-19.

Not the best experience - disappointing

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been staying here for 6 years and always enjoyed our trip but this year was disappointing and I don’t think we’ll be coming back. The room we stayed in, which we’ve stayed in previously, was really run down. The bed was falling apart and sagging on one side, the shower had mold on the ceiling, the tub wouldn’t drain, the fridge was covered in stains, the stove was hanging out of the wall, and overall it was really run down. And for paying $350 a night for this was NOT worth it. Also - the workout room has no towels to dry off and the vents are covered with mold. Not sanitary. And the beach at the condo is almost gone. All of the beach chairs were pushed all the way back to the sand dunes. We used to love coming here but I don’t see us coming back.
