FLH Castle Duplex with Terrace

This two-bedroom apartment is in Mouraria, one of Lisbon’s oldest and most captivating neighborhoods, known for its charming narrow streets, and a cultural melting pot where Portuguese, Asian and African meet harmoniously. Full of restaurants with great Portuguese, Asian and trendy western restaurants.

It is centrally located, 400m to the birthplace of the Fado music legend Maria Severa; 600m from St. George’s Castle; 800m from Miradouro da Senhora do Monte; less than 1km from the Rossio and a 11-minute walk to Dona Maria II National Theatre and 1.4 km from Commerce Square.

The apartment is spacious, and has a fairly big beautiful roof top terrace garden. After a day touring the city, enjoy a drink in the terrace, looking out in the distance the St. George Castle, with Lisbon’s cooling breeze. It’s quiet and heavenly!

The stay

The place was great. I would recommend it to all. The only issue we had we that there was only one key and card to get in and out. If one person left with the key and card the others would have to wait till they come back to get in and out. Easy solution is 2- keys and cards.

Good, but the apartment needs a dehumidifier

The location was good - we definitely liked being right in a neighborhood so we could experience the local lifestyle. The apartment was nice and we loved the outdoor patio. The weather was beautiful so we got to enjoy it. I would say there have been some nice upgrades, but the apt smells of mold/mildew. If you have allergies, this could be a problem. Needs a dehumidifier.

Apartment in Alfama

The location of the place was amazing. We loved that we could walk to many wonderful restaurants and we were close to a lot of sightseeing places. However, the place had mold growing above the living room window and it made the whole place smell like mold. Also, I had booked this apartment because the listing said it had a washing machine. It did have one but it was broken and we couldn't use it.

Schöner Aufenthalt, Ausstattung ok

Insgesamt schöne Wohnung, sauber, tolle Lage, Check-in klasse! :) Es fehlten aber Ablagen für Wäsche im Schlafzimmer/ Etagenbett, Haken im Bad für Handtücher und das Fenster im Schlafzimmer ließ sich nicht öffnen. Der muffelige Geruch stört!

Wunderbar gelegene Wohnung

Mitten in der Stadt gelegene Wohnung. Die Terrasse war wirklich super, abends konnte man auch von dort der wunderbaren Musik lauschen. Jederzeit wieder gerne.

Nice apt with rooftop

Great property! Convenient location. Rooftop patio was a little overgrown but has a really nice view and is a great place for a glass of wine. You have to climb several flights of stairs so be warned for those with large baggage. Thanks for having us!

I did not stay at this property when we checked in we were told that it was on the third floor. We did know there was no elevator but believed it was on the first floor. Contacted the management company and they would not do anything for us. Do to issues with my phone have not been able to contact VRBO.
