Our three-bedroom plus third floor tower beach home Southern Waves is conveniently located at the front of the popular neighborhood of Seacrest Beach Community.

We offer the best of all worlds at a great value:

- Gorgeous views of the Gulf from the third floor

- A 2 minute walk to the fabulous Seacrest Beach lagoon pool

- A 5 minute walk (or a FREE and convenient shuttle ride) to the beach

- A convenient and easy walk along 30A to shopping and dining in the town centers of both Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach

At the end of the day, enjoy the stunning panoramic views that will take your breath away!

The home sleeps 9 very comfortably with a king sized bed, a queen, a double bed, twin bunks and a daybed with pop-up trundle.

The living area offers a large flat-screen 65 inch TV. The dining and kitchen area, open to the living room, seat 10 for mealtimes - 6 at the table and 4 at the kitchen counter. The well equipped kitchen has quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances and a spacious pantry closet.

A full bath serves both the living area and the downstairs bedroom. This bedroom has a private porch which leads to the back yard. It is a flexible room with twin bunk beds and a double bed, suitable for families or four children. There is also a flat screen TV.

The side kitchen door leads to gas grill, an outdoor shower and a fenced-in backyard for youngsters to play safely.

The second floor has a spacious master bedroom with king bed, luxury vinly flooring, sitting area with a large flat-screen TV, and a private porch. The master bathroom has a glass-enclosed shower and tile floors, double sinks and a large tub.

The third bedroom on the same level has a queen bed and a private bath/shower. Double doors lead to a private porch. The second level also includes a laundry closet with full-size washer and dryer. All bedrooms have plenty of closet space.

The third floor is the tower room with wet bar, Keurig Coffee Maker , TV to catch your favorite sports, and daybed with pop up trundle - great for lounging during the day. If you have to do a little work while away you can sit at the desk as you look out at the gulf. There are wrap-around windows and sun decks on both east and west sides to enjoy sunrise and sunset on the gulf and the beautiful beaches of South Walton.

Perfect 30A Getaway

We had a wonderful week staying at Southern Waves! The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. Everything was in perfect proximity—beach access, shops, restaurants—it couldn’t have been more convenient.Karen was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay, quickly answering any questions we had and making the whole process easy and stress-free.We truly enjoyed our time here and would absolutely stay again. Incredible Property and Host

This home is spotless and beautifully decorated, with thoughtful details throughout. The location couldn’t be better—easy bike rides or short walks get you just about anywhere you want to go. The beach and pool are only a few minutes away, and the third-floor balconies offer a lovely ocean view—perfect for morning coffee or evening cocktails. Karen is an incredibly generous and responsive host. As first-time visitors to 30A, we really appreciated all the helpful tips she shared. She checked in with us mid-week and was quick to answer any questions. Highly recommend!

Incredible!

Everything about our stay was absolutely amazing! The location cannot be beat - a quick walk to the beach, Rosemary shoppes/restaurants, Alys beach shoppes/restaurants and a quick drive to Seaside. The home was beautiful - impeccably clean, plenty of space, and relaxing. I wish I could give it ten stars. The check in process was beyond easy and great consistent communication

The home was perfect for our family of 5. Plenty of room to spread out as well as wonderful space to come together. My teenagers LOVED the 3rd floor loft and adjoining decks. Great for sunning and hanging out. The house was also very convenient walking distance to restaurants, shops and beach. The owner is AMAZING! She sent wonderful detailed overview of the house amenities and even included some of her family’s favorite things to do in the area. We were all sad to say good-bye to Southern Waves.

AWESOME trip! LOVED 30A

Southern Waves was perfect for our family of 4 - we easily could have had more people! We loved the crows nest area! This was our first trip to 30A but we will be back! The house was beautiful - very well decorated, clean, comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen. Karen was amazing - she checked in on us to see if we needed anything or had any questions - was very sweet. The location was perfect - right at the front of the neighborhood which made access to everything really easy! You can walk to Rosemary and Alys beach and bike everywhere! We had a bonfire on Inlet Beach (30ABlaze), paddle boarded & kayaked Western Lake, had a great day of offshore fishing with Dead Fish Charters, watched many a sunsets on the beach and biked all the way to Seaside! It was nice the house had a few bikes - if you need more Peddlers Village is right up the street, the house also had beach chairs, boogie boards and some beach toys! Can’t go wrong with this house!

Great Property with an Amazing Host

The house is everything you see in the pictures. It is spacious, beautiful, clean, wonderfully designed, a great location, and perfect for a family. The mere fact that it has 4 balconies to choose from is huge to me, who likes to relax on a balcony with a book. I thought the walk to the beach would be farther, but it is very close. The property owner, Karen, was attentive to all our questions and concerns. She is amazing to work with. Besides being close to the beach, the house is very close to a ton of places to eat. You can walk a very short distance to get Italian, pizza to go, or really good Mexican at La Cocina. Just a bit farther there are quite a few eating options in Alys Beach. Rosemary is a very short distance, so you have access to all their restaurants as well. There is really no reason you need to drive to any place to eat. The waits are not long and they almost all offer outdoor seating, which is really nice if you aren't comfortable eating inside yet. Overall this property was perfect for our family and our vacation. I would definitely stay there again, which to me is the highest compliment.

Great House, but Resort has too many rules

I wish I could rate the house and owner separately from the resort that it is situated in. The house and owner were great! Karen was quick to respond and went above and beyond to provide info related to things to do and places to eat in the area. She even texted to let us know that the house was ready before our scheduled check-in time! The house was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Kitchen was well stocked and there were beach chairs and toys on the back porch for our use. We also enjoyed the use of the grill one night. The master beds on the second level were a little too soft, but that is my only complaint. However, the resort had some rules that made things quite inconvenient. We chose this house because it was one of the closest to the beach. We were quite disappointed to find that the beach access runs through another property that imposes strange rules such as no wheeled traffic. This meant that we could not roll our cooler to the beach nor take a wagon with all beach gear (sand buckets, boogie boards, chairs, etc.). Instead, we had to go to a tram stop (there is one close by) and call for a tram. We had to wait up to 30 mins to be picked up with our wheeled items. You can not simply hop on a tram that circulates the property. You must call and wait your turn :(. Also, the last 15 minutes of every hour is reserved for adult swim at the pool. A whistle is blown and staff walk around and instruct children to get out of the pool. What I observed was entire families vacate the pool when this happened. Seemed like a waste to me with this being a family friendly place. One of the reasons we chose this resort was because of the large pool that we knew the kids would enjoy. The adults in our family would prefer to stay at the beach all day and would likely never visit the pool. The resort was clean and staff friendly, but these two rules will keep us from coming back :(

The amenities were wonderful and Karen was super helpful and responsive before and during our stay. We just wish the lagoon pool was heated since we went in October, but the beach/ ocean were a perfect temperature. Highly recommend staying here!

Everything was perfect! Our location was close to the pool, tram, shopping, and the beach. The multiple balconies were awesome. The third floor was our favorite with balconies on each side with a nice view of the gulf. We thought Seacrest was less busy than Seaside and preferred this location. Karen, our property manager, was especially helpful and accommodating to our needs. We definitely will return!

The house was beautiful and clean. Great location, we loved that we could walk to so many restaurants and shops! Highly recommend the house and host! Only negative is the beach access, it is the smallest section of a beach I’ve ever seen and it’s for a very large neighborhood. I know we were there in the craziness of Summer but still. You had to rent a chair to even get close to the water and even then we were 4 rows back.

This property is perfectly located with only a 5 minute walk to the beach. It is just across 30A which makes it very walkable to restaurants and shopping. The beds were comfortable and the house has everything you need for your stay. Karen, our host, was very responsive to make sure we had everything we needed and was quick to answer any questions I had about the area and the house. We loved this house and would definitely stay here again.

A Beautiful Home in an Incredible Location – Just Be Prepared for Peak Season Crowds

Southern Waves is in a fantastic location between Rosemary and Alys Beach. We chose it for its close beach access and resort-style pool—and both delivered! The home is beautiful, comfortable, well-stocked, and communication with the owner was outstanding. We especially enjoyed the fireworks views and truly appreciated how well-cared-for the home was.That said, during peak weeks, expect crowds. This isn’t the fault of the homeowner, just a reality of the popular SeaCrest community. Much of the beach is reserved for chair service (75/day for two chairs/umbrella), leaving limited space for others. No wagons or canopies are allowed, and beach security strictly monitors boundaries. We were up early many mornings just to claim a spot.The pool is lovely but often full, with guests holding chairs for long periods—even when not using them—which made it tough to enjoy at times.Despite that, we had a great stay. The home was peaceful, relaxing, and ideal for quality family time. We’ll definitely return—just during a quieter week. Highly recommend this property and host!

Great spot!

We absolutely loved our stay at this house! The location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach and close to everything we needed in both Alys and Rosemary. The home itself was newer, very clean, and thoughtfully designed. We especially enjoyed the third-floor area, which offered ocean views and a great place to relax in the evenings. The layout and condition of the property exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend!

Our family has been visiting the Florida Panhandle to vacation for the last 25 years. We've stayed in Destin, Navarre, Perdido Key, Seagrove, Dune Allen, Old Florida and for the last 10 years in the Rosemary and Seacrest Beach communities. Our kids have grown up on the beaches of 30A and these beaches remain our favorite spot to relax, visit with family and friends and remember why we work so hard the rest of the year.

As we watch our children and now grandchildren we wanted to stay connected to all the fond memories and decided to purchase a property we could enjoy with our clan and share with families like yours. We looked at many homes, but the location of our home made the decision easy for us.

We welcome you and your family and friends to enjoy all that the beaches of 30A have to offer and there is no better feeling than a late night stroll on the beach, a bike ride up and down 30A or sneaking out for donuts and coffee in the morning to help you remember what life and living is all about.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with this property the first time we looked at photos in the listing and it was the first home we asked about when we got serious about buying. We looked at a number of other properties up and down 30A, but this house feels like home to us. It feels connected to all that makes the Alys, Seacrest Beach, Rosemary Beach and Inlet Beach communities special. You are minutes from world class beaches, postcard views, great restaurants, fantastic State Parks and at the same time a world away from commutes, overloaded schedules and the daily grind.

P.S. We live in Tampa, FL home to some of the world's finest beaches including Siesta Key, Clearwater Beach, Pass-A-Grille, and Fort Desoto and Seacrest Beach is where we decided to buy a beach house. We've traveled as a family to the Yucatan, Big Sur, Greece, Spain, Costa Rica and Belize and have never found a place that feels more like home than the beaches of 30A. Even if you don't end up staying with us, give the area a try and I promise you won't be disappointed.

What makes this property unique

After a day at the beach, at the pool, on the golf course, a long walk or bike ride, Southern Waves provides an oasis where you can kick back, read a book, play some board games, eat too much and sleep as late as you want (or can). Our guests always tell us they love being one lot away from 30A, but the location feels secluded as it is away from the main streets. Take coffee on the third floor and plan your day and head back up with a bottle of wine in the evening to watch the sunset and relax to the sounds of the wind and awaits.
