Place was small, but clean. We were able to experience what it felt like to be a local! Lots of places to eat, drink, and hang out in walking distance. I did have to pay a little extra to check in 45 minutes early, which is not typical in the U.S. Other than, that we have no complaints.
Good communication, well organised check in/out. Balcony was very welcome due to amazing weather. Nice neighbourhood with everything within easy walking distance. Highly recommended for a short break

About the host
Hosted by Places To Be
Hi I'm Dan. I'm a Southsea local that has both used and hosted on airbnb since 2015. I love travel and meeting new people, exploring new places and finding hidden gems. I a property manager hosting several properties around Portsmouth and Southsea for others and enjoy ensuring they have a happy experience. With my fiancé Kat, we also open our home up to fellow property managers. We frequently use Homeaway ourselves and love to stay in places that feel stylish and quirky but also homely and where we might be able to pick up some good local tips from our hosts. We enjoy offering the same back to our guests. I know my way around pretty well and can tell you some great places to eat out or grab a drink. We like to give our guests their privacy but happy to help out with any info you need at your request. Interaction with guests
I do not live on site and like to give guests their space. I do live in Southsea and may be around the building at points during your stay. I am always on-hand via email or text to help with any queries or to provide recommendations.
