Greens Villa #108 - 2 bedrooms Near Ocean

We certainly appreciate feedback from our owners & renters; however, we do not feel like this review is a fair representation of 108 The Greens. The unit recently underwent extensive upgrades which included remodeling the kitchen and all 3 bathrooms (primary, guest & powder room), new luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout the 1st floor, a new dining room set along some new living room furniture. This guest did report seeing some Palmetto Bugs which are common in our area. In fact, we received several calls during early to mid October among the 175 properties we manage which we attributed to the weather conditions that Hurricanes Helene & Milton brought as the remnants of the storms passed through our area. Higher than normal tides, 35 to 50 mph wind gusts along with heavy rain certainly stirs up our wildlife & insect population. However, Hilton Head fared extremely well through both storms overall. Far better than what Florida, Western North Carolina & Tennessee have experienced. A random Palmetto Bug is a small price to pay compared to the devastation these other areas have experienced. In addition, we did not receive any reports of Palmetto Bugs prior to this occupancy or since.

We apologize that the grill did not work during your stay. Fortunately, if you decide to stay again, the owner has decided to upgrade to a gas grill and it has been installed since your stay.

Hi Megan. Thank you for your review. We are glad you enjoyed your vacation. As for the check-in process, we require guests to check in at the office due so we can give physical check-in packages to our guests. Most of our properties require parking passes and we feel it is more secure to have the guests pick up the required documents from our office and provide a welcoming atmosphere so guest are able to put a face with who they are dealing with when talking on the phone or through email.

We do not believe that this review accurately depicts the quality of The Greens 108. The owner spends a lot of time in the unit and is always making changes and upgrades to make the unit nice for guests. This unit is very highly regarded by our staff at Seashore Vacations and our guests that stay there as depicted by the overwhelmingly positive reviews. The kitchen is very well stocked and has everything needed to cook in it. The cabinets may have been a little out of order and unorganized, but that is simply because the unit is rented out and after many guests, things are bound to get shifted around in the cabinets. However, we know that this unit is very well stocked. We also disagree with the lighting complaint that this guest had. The main floor in this unit has can lights in the ceiling, plenty of lamps, and even undercabinet lights in the kitchen for even more lighting. During the day-time, there are two large sliders in the living room and a large slider in the kitchen that allow for plenty of natural lighting. Upstairs, there are more ceiling lights and lamps. The owner has also recently replaced the lamp shades with more translucent lamp shades in the guest bedroom to allow even more light in. The outlets have been checked upon this guests departure as well and we could not find an issue with the outlets in the unit. In regards to cleaning, this unit is cleaned thoroughly by a professional cleaning company after each guest stay and receives a deep cleaning a few times a year along with upholstery cleaning frequently. We also did not receive a call, email, or any sort of communication from this guest during their stay. We strive to provide excellent service and remedy any issue that may arise during a stay. We were unable to do this for this guest because we did not know the guest was not satisfied until we read this negative review. The Greens 108 is a beautiful unit and is a great vacation rental for Hilton Head Island Vacationers.
