The property was clean and comfortable with hiking trails and restaurants in close proximity. The host Steven checked in via text to make sure we settled in okay and was easy to chat with. I would stay here again.

Thank you Jeanette. It was a pleasure hosting you. I'm glad you had a great stay. And you're welcome back any time.
Perfect location for our visit to Sedona for our niece’s wedding. The property was very clean and had ample parking, and the owner was great at communicating with us.

This guest was highly considerate, courteous, clean, & amicable, not in the slightest uppity or arrogant, & didn’t expect to have me get on my knees & lick her shoes. Unlike some ppl can be...lol. She’s an awesome person, very kind & id have her back 1000x!!!
My friend and I were there for a get away. We really enjoyed the property for its location, comfort and included parking. We could easily walk to restaurants and shops. It was quiet and the A/C worked well. The owner was very nice and we had a wonderful time. Would definitely stay there again!
Simply WOW . A beautiful property, quiet, spacious and very comfortable, with other words a home away from home. Location is perfect, close from restaurants and shops, walking distance from everything, including some beautiful hikes. Definitely I’ll recommend this rental to friends and family, and of course I’ll return .
Ability to stay without a car was important to me. Very comfortable although a little starkly furnished. Needs more kitchen utensils, etc. to cook at home. Nice to have neighbors closeby since I was staying by myself most of the time.

Need to simplify check in process
Too many steps to follow to finally check in and then not all information was provided. The place is in an excellent location within walking distance to trails and center of town! Overall we really enjoyed our visit to Sedona!
This unit was the perfect place to stay for our first visit to Sedona! 90% of Uptown Sedona was within a one mile walk. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed. Steven was good to work with and very detail oriented. There is so much to see and do, and the views are gorgeous! Price for the stay was cheaper than the nearby hotels with much more privacy. Next time we come to Sedona, we will definitely stay here.

This "guest" & her team were a one family wrecking crew. I entered the condo to check out something they broke the first night(in 2 years they've been the only ones to break or mess up anything in the condo) & I was hit by what felt like a hurricane heat steam that nearly left me damp from humidity.
Apparently they were steaming shushi among other foods, in the FULL SIZED KITCHEN FULLY EQUIPPED WITH ALL THE COOKING PARAPHENALIA THEY WERE USING TO COOK, OVEN, DISHES, UTENSILS, ETC. I didn't hear any complaints about that not being adaquate! It looked like they were cooking for a for a party of 50 people. The place was a disaster. Due to their sloppyness, I would never have these people stay here again & I advise others to BEWARE.
They're voracious & rude. They dessimated the condo leaving a wake of carnage behind them. Fortunately I've an excellent cleaning crew & they restored the place. Every day they were asking for extra things, & announcing "broken" things. The 40+ guests, over nearly 1.5 years prior, combined didn't have as many issues as these guys- lol! ;)!!!!
I've recieved nearly 50 reviews, on another platform, & average 4.8 stars out of 5(I'm new to vrbo).
This "guest," if you can call them that, has been the worst one I can remember...
Naturally, in this business you get your share of entitled, arrogant people, but this one was at the top of the list. Lol.
Overall, the property was comfortable, clean, and central to downtown, but I did experience a few issues that affected my stay.I had difficulty unlocking and locking the door, which often took several minutes and required holding the key at a very specific angle. When I reached out for help, I was told the lock was “tricky,” and the property manager applied WD-40, which unfortunately got all over my hands when I used the key afterward. At the end of our stay I sent a message noting that the toaster wasn’t working and that the key was a “pain in the ass,” simply expressing frustration about how difficult it was to secure the door. The property manager’s response came across as condescending and defensive, claiming I was being aggressive and that no one else had ever had issues. I found this reaction unreasonable given that my feedback was minimal and intended to be helpful.Overall, the property manager was difficult to work with and did not handle feedback professionally. I hope this feedback is received in the constructive spirit it’s meant — improving the communication approach and addressing the lock issue would make future guests’ experiences much smoother. Below is my text exchange with Steven Cyrus the property manager for context.
The location was great. Walking distance to anywhere in town. It was clean and comfortable. We read alot of negative reviews prior to booking and were a bit nervous to do so. However, I am glad we did. The owner is a strong personality type. But I understand the world is made up of different types of people. He was not overbearing during our stay. We only spoke with check-in and when we had an issue with our microwave. I would stay here again.

A Few Distractions from Vacation Time 30 Sept - 6 Oct.
Sedonia is a dark sky community & we arrived late so the parking lot & door entry were very dark. Condo was ok with updated kitchen and bedrooms rooms. Beds were nice and comfortable but did not have dresser or luggage stands in them. After a mid-week hike, we returned to water being shut off due to non-payment. The water was restored within 2 hours after calling the owner. Another distractor was when the owner wanted access to the condo while we were away to remove some book shelfs in the bedrooms. I replied that we had personal clothing on the book shelfs and didn't want him moving the clothes without being there. He rudely replied that I was like 1 in a 1000 people that would not accommodate his "simple" request. Overall ok good location in Uptown Sedona, Condo is good for price, but owner could be more accommodating to his guess.

weekend in sedona
The place was nice, but walls are very thin. The location is by far the biggest selling point as it is very close to town and beautiful views all around. The first impression of the owner was a very lengthy email requesting us to check in with him on multiple occasions prior to our arrival…….a week out, a couple days prior, the day of and as we are arriving in town. The check in process was very uncomfortable as he required us to come to his place of work to pick up the key and listen to an orientation that he had already emailed us that day which was all about what previous renters have done wrong to him or to the place. Certainly not a very welcoming feeling. Upon arrival we found there were no hangers in the closet and no ice. We asked for some ice trays if the ice maker was broken but were just told that he had “no idea whats up with the ice maker” but he did deliver us some hangers. After doing our best to read and follow all of his directions, when it came time to check out, we had no idea where to leave the key. Not wanting to make the list of “what the previous renters” had done we waited for his response for an unnecessary amount of time until we took a guess as to where the leave key and luckily got it right. Good luck to you.

WARNING. Bizarre and stressful. The owner's rage and aggression ruined our Sedona trip. Left early.
Owner requested constant arrival status updates. I sent several messages so he would know when we were arriving. The owner replied once with a wall of text with details about the rental buried between lengthy rants about past renters who had wronged him. I arrived at his shop at 3pm and he was not there. His employee started that he was in Phoenix and would not return for several hours. I let him know I rented Unit 2 and he provided me with the keys and directions to the condo, just down the road. He informed me that it was just cleaned. It was a normal friendly interaction.
Thirty minutes later we were frightened by an irate man pounding on the door. It was the owner and he was furious we were inside the condo before the 4pm check in. My wife and children were hiding in a bedroom because of his unstable behavior. He was shaking with anger. He screamed, yelled, and berated me for a solid ten minutes. He threatened to kick us out several times. I was never given a chance to explain my side or even speak. His behavior and what he was saying made no sense in the situation. I was very compliant because I thought things could get violent. I also wanted to salvage our family vacation. I never demanded a key and didn't realize being at the shop an hour early was an issue. The employee who happily gave us the key. If we had been asked to come back later that would have been fine. We could have easily walked around the village for an hour. We were not in a rush to check in. We were caught totally off guard by the owner's erratic behavior. Later in evening more texts were sent with rants about locking doors, operating blinds, light switches, putting feet on table, food in rooms. My responses were kept short and polite to limit communication.
My wife and I both were anxious and unable to sleep. We were afraid that the owner could be come back at anytime and launch into another tirade. We were worried it could get violent and did not feel safe.
We made the difficult financial decision to leave and get a hotel. We left Sedona sooner than planned. I called VRBO and spoke to their incident center at length before leaving. They documented the incident, offered no support, and told me to call the authorities if needed.
Before booking please consider this experience. Do you want to risk ruining your vacation and losing your money? Do you want to be harassed by a high conflict personality with unpredictable rage? Owner has 5 rentals in Sedona. BEWARE.

This person ruined their own stay. Everyone has a great time here except these types.. They get what they deserve. They bring everything on themselves. 😂
My stay at this property was fantastic. I appreciated the location and enjoyed the roomy layout, featuring two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It is conveniently located close to numerous trailheads in Sedona. One suggestion is to add a keypad entry system or provide at least two keys.
This condo was very clean, very nice appliances, good size bathroom with walk in shower, with double sink and bed was comfortable. Just exactly like the pictures. The location is awesome and beautiful! Walk to restaurants and shopping. There is a neat little museum at the end of the street that we walked to one afternoon. Check in is different but not an issue for us. Its obvious Steven works really hard to insure his properties are welcoming and in good condition. He is a text message away should you need anything.
Thanks for sharing your place Steven!
We would most certainly stay here again:)
