Modern Lodgings, Victorian home - Tamworth House, Sheffield.
Welcome to Tamworth House Lodgings in Sheffield! Open valley views close to the Peak District National Park, City centre, Theatres, Universities and Sheffield United football. Shared entrance to a 2nd floor flat. Light and airy with two centrally heated bedrooms: double bed, clean linen, wardrobe and chest of drawers. Bathroom with bath and shower cubicle, toilet, sink and... underfloor heating. Fully equipped kitchen/diner/lounge all conveniently located on the same floor for guests' sole use.
We aim to be friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout your stay whilst being respectful of your space and privacy.
The space
Lodgings situated in a detached Victorian house built in the 1870's and with a 60 year history of providing accommodation. This is a large modern attic conversion arranged over a single floor at the top of the house, refurbished and comfortably furnished. It has full central heating and lovely views over a bowling club, park and right across the valley. This is a friendly and easy going family home in a residential area with pets (although pets are not allowed in the guest accommodation), welcoming and considerate of our guests' space and schedule.

Each with double bed, electric blanket, wardrobe, chest of drawers, mirror and laundry basket, plenty of clean linen and towels

Iron, washing machine, fridge, electric hob (no oven), microwave oven, kettle, sink, crockery, cutlery, glassware, cooking utensils, dining table and chairs

Underfloor heating, bath, walk in shower cubicle, sink, toilet, clothes airer and ironing board
Guest lounge (open plan with kitchen/diner)
Large Smart flatscreen TV with Netflix (LG 32"), Wi-Fi
Welcome food pack
We know our guests sometimes arrive after the shops have closed, so we supply a welcome food pack which includes some basics: tea, coffee, milk, butter, bread, muesli and fruit
Guest access
To minimise personal contact and for convenience there is a lock box for self check-in, and communication is via the website. Access is via a shared front door entrance to a second floor flat. We practice social distancing and provide hand sanitiser in our shared entrance hall, where often touched surfaces such as the stair banister, light switches and door handles are regularly disinfected. We provide hand washing and cleaning equipment in the flat.
