Terraced House In A Lovely Mediterranean Village 3km From The Sea
The terraced house consists of a ground floor with patio and an upper floor. Open plan kitchen, dining area, sitting area, patio, one bedroom and bathroom are on the ground floor. On the upper floor we have two bedrooms, sitting room and a bathroom.
The focal point of the house is the open plan kitchen/dining/leaving areas that give access to the big (35 m2) patio also equiped with dining and sitting furniture. This is where you will make your daily life and activities like cooking, eating, watching tv or just relaxing and chilling out in the patio.
On the upper floor you will have the “night or quieter zone” with a quieter sitting room ideal for reading, browsing, waching tv or working (be areful, you are on holidays!) , two big bedrooms (16 and 17 m2) and a bathroom.
All rooms are very spacious, one of them is equipped with a double bed (150 x 190 cm2) whilst the other two have two single beds (90 x 190 cm2) that can also be configured like a big double bed (180 x 190 cm2). All beds are new and the mattresses are of visco-elastic material
The house was originally built in dry stone, the typical ancient building material of the area, with walls of up tu 70cm width making it very fresh in summer and warm in winter. I
This house is the ideal gateway for a couple or a family with children who is looking to enjoy a quiet and comfortable stay.
The house has been recently refurbished (I am writing this in March 2019) and it is available to be rented out from May 1st 2019. All building works are finished and now we are commissioning it (curtains, some of the furniture, bed linen etc…). Once it has been commissioned we will update the site with new high quality photos. For the time being I am uploading some of the photos I have been making myself with my phone, please have mercy with me: I am a terrible photographer!!!
Note for guests who have been in the house before 2019:
We have just recently (I am writing this note in March 2019) refurbished and significantly improved the house. The main changes we have made are:
1) We have changed the roof with an insulated one
2) We have furnished the upper floor. It now has two big bedrooms (16 and 17 m2) , a bathroom and a sitting room.
3) Much bigger patio. Do you remember the small charming patio? Well we have made it much bigger and kept the charm! Just have a look at the pictures!
4) Refurbished the ground floor. We have moved one of the bedrooms upstairs (the small one) and made the dining room bigger. Kitchen is now open plan with the dining area

Although I was born in this lovely and charming village I lived in London many years. After those London years I realized this village was the place where I wanted to live my life. The quality of life is just fantastic: weather is just great, the sea is marvellous, food is delicious, you can practice many sports including trekking, biking, climbing, diving, sailing etc...
Why they chose this property
This property is situated at only 100m from the centre of Santanyí a small charming village (5000 inhabitants) which has become very cool and trendy in the last 10 years. The house was built many years ago in dry stone which gives it a lot of character. In addition, its thick dry stone walls make it warm in winter and fresh in summer.
What makes this property unique
The atmosphere that the building inspires, its proximity to the centre and the location of the village itself which is surrounded by many beaches, natural parks and wonderful landscapes.
