Had a great time in this home. The host was great as she met us to help us get into the property upon our arrival and was responsive when we needed her for one question.
the location is fantastic the upper roof top has the best views in the city i imagine as the Acropolis is just upon the hill and was only a 10 minute walk to get to.
everything in city center which the home is in was within easy walking distance for shopping and restaurants.
would recommend this porperty
We were a VERY large family group of 10. It was near to impossible to find a place large enough and this apartment fit us great. The LOCATION was unbelievable. An easy walk to everything. Our check in was so simple.
Coffee shop right outside our door, a church that reminded us what time it is ( bells stopped at 11, no worries!) and 5 bedrooms. Super! Thank you!!!
This is the absolute best location to stay in Athens. It’s close to everything you want to see and do.
Pros: the hostess, Yota, is extremely helpful. She arranged our transfer from the airport and then to the port.
The apartment is located steps away from the best restaurant in Athens. We ate there multiple times.
There’s a fabulous coffee shop steps away too.
Plenty of room in the apartment for multiple people.
The view from the rooftop patio is stunning!
Price is very reasonable.
Everything you need is in the apartment.
Cons: lots of stairs. If you’re elderly or disabled make sure you have help to lift suitcases up 2 flights of stairs, but most of Athens is this way so be mindful of that.
If traveling in summer like we did (mid June) it’s hot and the ACs can only do so much. We were ok because we come from the gulf coast of the USA and are used to a much hotter and way more humid climate.
Be prepared to walk a short distance with suitcases from where you get dropped off to get to the apartment. It’s literally only around the corner but can seem daunting on cobblestones. It’s very easy so don’t be afraid.
We enjoyed our stay so very much and felt like the location allowed us to be immersed in the city. It’s got a very eclectic, “real” feel to it that we just loved.

Amazing Location but sacrifice some amenities
This location of this place can’t be beat. Seriously. Perfectly located 2 minutes from the Agora and in the middle of the market area where there are lots of shopping and restaurant options. Great bars for wine and/or coffee.
The rooftop view is amazing and great for unwinding after a long day in a beautiful city.
With all of the superlatives, some things to be aware of….to get into the house you have to climb two flights of very steep stairs. This was tough on some of our family members who have bad knees.
There are three rooms that have air conditioning, which was critical during the heat we experienced. One room has one queen, another has another queen and one has a full bed. There are several other rooms with beds but no air conditioning. The roof top had two bedrooms but no AC either.
There is not really a living area for all to congregate and relax together that is air conditioned. Essentially, we all separated into our rooms with AC when we got back.
Bathrooms were serviceable but really could use a deep clean. Some of our party felt like they needed to use shower shoes in the shower.
The place is eclectic and unique. The hostess was very communicative and accommodating.
Overall, pleased with the stay but wanted to provide more information on the location so that others weren’t surprised by the situation as we were.

Athens Visit
Be Prepared, that's my advice if considering staying at this property. The location is by far the selling point as it is moments from the Acropolis, Agora, flea market, restaurants and the Plaka. Also, FYI, this property is located next to a bell tower that gongs every half hour and on the hour up to 11 pm each night.
The interior is a nightmare of bizarre objects along with piles and piles of leftovers, stuff and street art. Coffee from 2018. A mannequin head with feathery devil ear headband. Stacks of shampoo, lotion, bar soap and sunscreen left by prior guests. Beer can "art?" nailed to walls. Silver suit of armor standing in corner. Broken chairs. Broken planters. Dirty doilies. With so much stuff piled everywhere it's impossible to clean. Mattresses should all be replaced. Pillows should be replaced. And note, the bedrooms aren't really bedrooms, they are rooms with interior windows covered with curtains. There's no living room.
The narrow circular metal stairs going up to the roof are dangerous and rickety. We all agreed to only let one person on the stairs at a time. The roof top view of the acropolis is amazing, but the chairs, pillows, side tables are all in terrible condition. The hanging rattan chairs are cracked and repaired with metal wrap, they are dangerous. The upstairs "bedroom" is not a bedroom. It is a space enclosed with curtains including an open air toilet, sink and shower.
