Would not stay here again. Communication with the host during the stay was ok; he was very responsive. Regrettably, prior to the stay, I received two reminders from the host to pay for the remainder of the reservation. These reminders were received days before the final payment was due and were very annoying. Further, the pictures we saw online did not match the overall condition of the apartment. The apartment needed a deep cleaning (especially the kitchen) and fresh paint throughout. Many of the dishes were chipped and needed replacement. Quite a few light bulbs needed replacement. With some improvements, this could be a nice apartment.

Wonderful place!

Everything was as advertised! Very roomy, clean and with all necessities. Close to restaurants, bars and a grocery store. Antonio met us and gave us a little tour of the neighborhood. We’ll definitely stay again!

I can only recommend this flat! It was a very convenient accommodation for our stay in Madrid. Antonio and Estefania were very kind and helpful before and during the stay. The flat is big enough for two families with two kids each to feel comfortable at the mornings and evening. The beds are very convenient. The two bathrooms are clean. We arrived in Madrid with a hand luggage only, we found the rest (hair-dryer, bath towels, coffee pot etc.) there. The location is very good. Several bus lines to the city centre, metro. Eating facilities, food stores. Quiet and clean area.

El propietario está muy pendiente antes de la reserva y durante la estancia, te resuelva todas las dudas. El piso está muy bien situado y ningún problema con los vecinos. Piso limpio y con lo básico y se agradece (fairy, jabón, champú, etc). Nosotros eramos 4 adultos y dos niños pequeños. Recomiendo este alojamiento

nette Wohnung in guter, ruhiger Lage

Die Wohnung ist fast perfekt ausgestattet im EG einer ruhigen Wohnstraße. Mit Bus 44 (100m) und Metro Cuatro Caminos (500 m) gibt es eine sehr gute Verkehrsanbindung. In ähnlicher Entfernung befinden sich Supermärkte und Restaurants. Der Gastgeber ist sehr hilfsbereit und die Kommunikation mit ihm absolut problemlos.

Schöne, empfehlenswerte Wohnung

Die Wohnung liegt im Erdgeschoss (mit ein paar Stufen, also nicht ganz barrierefrei), ist relativ modern und gut eingerichtet, ca. 10 Gehminuten von der U-Bahn 'Quatro Caminos' in einer Seitenstraße. Ein Supermarkt ist wenige Gehminuten entfernt, es gibt auch viele kleine Läden in der Nachbarschaft. Die beiden Bäder waren prima, wir haben wenig vermisst, außer vielleicht eine Mikrowelle und eine Leselampe an den Betten. Der Vermieter Antonio war sehr nett und kam gleich am ersten Abend gleich vorbei, als die Heizung wegen Wassermangel nicht gleich lief. Die Dame, die den Check-In übernommen hatte, konnte allerdings kein Englisch, so dass Spanisch-Grundkenntnisse zu empfehlen sind.

I told you I could go to make the check in to clarify anything not enough clear but you told us everything was ok and it was not needed my stay. Très bon séjour chez Antonio

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour, appartement propre et fonctionnel, bien situé proche du bus et du métro. Literie très confortable. Quelques petits travaux serait à prévoir, les volet se ferment mal et robinetterie un peu vieillissante. Cafetière un peu petite pour un appartement aussi grand et pour les amateurs de café. Mais cela ne nous a pas empêché de passer un excellent séjour. Bonne adresse, nous recommandons.

Appartement spacieux et très proche du métro Cuatros Caminos. Commerces à proximité. Le propriétaire est très conciliant et le stationnement est sécurisé. Je recommande cet appartement sans hésitation!

Experience Madrid as a Madrileño!

The property is located in a working class neighborhood which is great for anyone looking to experience Madrid as the millions of city dwellers do. There are several options for public transportation within minutes of the apartment and several supermarkets, restaurants and drugstores. I found the Mercado de las Maravillas to be the jewel of the crown in this neighborhood. I loved walking through its many corridors laden with fruits from the land and from the sea. Listening to the people and how they go about their market shopping was the best part. The neighborhood has clinics ad hospitals and some artisanal workshops and specialty stores.

Casa y anfitrión muy bien

El piso es un bajo pero es luminoso. Con barrotes que dan seguridad y cristales especiales que impiden que te vean desde fuera. Está totalmente equipada para pasar unos días y próximo a autobuses que van al centro y de la boca del metro. Además, el anfitrión, Antonio, te ayuda en todo momento y facilita la estancia. Muy recomendable.

Una experiencia horrible!!!

En el anuncio todo muy bien perfecto, llego a la casa no funciona el baño, aunque tienen dos pero éramos muchos, no funcionaba el aire y en la casa hacía un calor horrible, y aparte de todo tenía que esperar yo a los técnicos que venían a arreglar eso uno me dejo esperando media hora supuestamente porque no podía aparcar cosa que no es verdad, porque durante el día se aparca bien en la zona, después de 2 días solucionaron lo del aire acondicionado, cuando eso se tendría que mirar todo antes de que se alquile un piso y no cuando ya nos instalamos por que todos en la casa trabajamos y no podemos estar pendientes de que vengan los técnicos a solucionar dichos problemas. , luego los colchones de una de las literas por que no quisimos ni mirar los de la otra litera al quitar las sábanas estaban lleno de humedad y moho en la parte de abajo y también el sofá cama del salón en la parte de abajo igual, en resumidas cuentas un experiencia de lo PEOR ya que no es nada barato el alquiler que piden para el estado en el que estaba la mayoría de las cosas.

Gracias Montserrat por tu comentario, te ha faltado comentar que aunque el anuncio está muy bien no lo leíste ya que cuando contacté contigo para coordinar la entrada te informé acerca de la equipación de las habitaciones y tú la desconocías y por eso quisiste cancelarlo el día antes de entrar. Te ofrecí la posibilidad por mi parte de hacerlo, pero tenías que hablar con VRBO a ver qué te costaba hacerlo. Al final decidiste venir (aun así te dije que el primer día me informases y si no te gustaba veíamos la opción de cancelar y tu respuesta fue que querías estar dos días más, el último día decidiste que no te quedabas). Comentas que erais muchos, te lo alquilé para 4 y se paga por inquilino, ¿eráis más? porque 4 no son muchos para 3 habitaciones, 2 baños y salón. También que te dejé salir 5 horas más tarde de la hora sin pegas; aun así te dejaste cosas que te guardamos y te devolvimos, teniendo que esperarte media hora a pesar de confirmar la hora unos minutos antes. Además, me has perdido un juego de llaves (por el que no te he penalizado); ... Es cierto que el piso necesita algunos arreglos (ya te lo comenté antes de entrar), que haremos en unas semanas. Lamentablemente el Aire acondicionado se rompió, cosas que pasan, pero el técnico estaba en unas horas y como no se podía arreglar, al día siguiente había uno nuevo instalado y funcionando. Que el técnico del baño se retrasase el primer día media hora es imperdonable (mismo tiempo que me hiciste esperar para darte las cosas que te dejaste), yo te transmití lo que me decía (puedes creerlo o no). Luego le hiciste volver dos veces más, pero no estabas (y en ambas llegó antes de la hora). Por supuesto, siempre que va algún técnico al apartamento debe estar el inquilino, a no ser que no quiera, y tú querías estar. En cuanto al precio, está claro que caro no es ya que lo reservaste. Posiblemente era el más barato de la zona en esas fechas. Llevo alquilando el apartamento casi 9 años y es el segundo comentario negativo (el otro fue por un problema en el desagüe de la comunidad ajeno al apartamento). Saludos, Antonio Cabal
