Fabulous

Enrico made us very welcome. The Villa is stunning and beautiful in a brilliant location. Ten minute walk in to town. One of the best places we’ve ever stayed. We were thankful for the mobile air-con unit as it was so hot. We hope to return!

Breathtaking!

There is so much about this property to say! It is full of old world charm and is a striking property! The scenery is stunning and the 'swimming pool' at the bottom of the garden was amazing!! Lake Garda is glorious and to have that within feet of your back door is incredible. Go pay a visit to this property, you wouldn't be disappointed!

5 days of lakeside bliss!

We spent 5 nights at this beautiful old villa and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The weather was amazing and we were able to make full use of the lovely garden with direct access to the lake. We were fortunate to share the villa with some of the extended family that also have apartments there and they were without exception friendly and welcoming. It was a very sociable 5 days. Nothing was too much trouble for Enrico and whatever we asked for he produced very quickly, we felt very well looked after! We would highly recommend the apartment and would love to return one day. Thank you Enrico and please pass on our regards to your super family.

Italienisches Flair direkt am See

Die Ferienwohnung befindet sich in einer wunderschönen, großen, alten Villa direkt am Gardasee. Sie war sehr schön im alten italienischen Stil großzügig eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Die Unterkunft übertraf noch unsere Erwartungen. Im Garten, den wir teilten, hatten wir einen netten, aber unaufdringlichen Kontakt zur Eigentümerfamilie, die zeitgleich in dem Haus Urlaub machte. Das Zentrum von Salò war über einen kleinen Spaziergang gut zu erreichen. Das Auto musste in der Nähe an der Straße geparkt werden, was den sehr positiven Gesamteindruck aber nicht schmälerte. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Wunderschöne Unterkunft

Vorab die Unterkunft ist genauso wie auf den Bildern angegeben. Einfach toll. Die Wohnung mit dem dazugehörigen Grundstück ist einfach wunderbar, direkt am Wasser gelegen lädt es zum Verweilen ein. Man sollte sich nur darüber im Klaren sein, dass auch andere Mieter bzw. Eigentümer des Hauses anwesend sind und den Garten auch nutzen und auf der Terrasse an der Wohnung vorbeilaufen. Das Haus verfügt über keinen eigenen Parkplatz – ein- bzw. ausladen muss man flott, da die Straße sehr eng ist, aber an der Straße oben haben wir einen Parkplatz für unsere Wagen ohne Probleme gefunden. Unserer Fahrräder konnten wir auf dem Grundstück abstellen. Die Stadt mit einer wunderschönen Promenade oder das nächste Restaurant kann man fußläufig erreichen.

Groot, comfortabel en sfeervol appartement pal aan het Lago di Garda

We verbleven in het appartement op de eerste etage, dat via een monumentale trap met ongeveer 20 treden wordt bereikt. Het appartement bestaat uit een prachtige grote woonkamer, een rustieke grote slaapkamer, een keuken met alles erop en eraan, een fijne badkamer en een geweldig fijn overdekt terras, omzoomd door een schitterende balustrade, met uitzicht op het meer. Tussen het appartementsgebouw en het meer is een tuin met mooie bomen met wederom een prachtige balustrade aan de kant van het meer. De tuin wordt gedeeld met gasten in het appartement op de begane grond en eigenaren. Parkeren kan op de openbare weg een eindje verderop of in een commerciële parkeergarage in de buurt. In Salò, op 10 tot 15 minuten loopafstand, is het aangenaam vertoeven met heerlijke terrassen en prachtige gebouwen met onder meer herinneringen aan de Republica Sociale Italiana van 1943 tot 1945. Fantastisch is de mogelijkheid om vanuit Salò met een boot naar andere prachtige stadjes aan het meer te gaan. We hebben een heerlijke vakantie van een week in het appartement gehad. We hadden er graag langer willen blijven. Van harte aanbevolen!

Wichtig bei einer Ferienunterkunft: die Lage, die Lage, die Lage

Hatten trotz Schlechtwetter eine sehr erholsame Zeit. Der Seezugang ist ein sehr kostbares Gut. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung für 2 Personen sehr gut. Haben fast nichts vermisst. Vermieter Enrico und Sully waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Tolle Ferienwohnung mit minimalen Verbeserungsmöglichkeiten

Wir waren Anfang April bei Enrico zu Gast und die Lage war wirklich traumhaft. Das Appartement hatte alles was wir brauchten und der morgendliche Kaffee am Seezugang ist unbeschreiblich. Wie Enrico auch persönlich mitgeteilt, wäre es schön gewesen hätte man den Kamin und den Fernseher (lediglich italienisches Fernsehen) nutzen können. Leider kam die Familie von Enrico spontan zum Osterwochenende was unsere Privatsphäre immens einschränkte, so das wir einen Tag eher nach Hause gefahren sind. Alles in allem würden wir aber erneut hinfahren.

We will provide with a new tv the apartment but is not possible to use the kamin as it is forbidden in Italy cause of pollution's rules and too dangerous with the antik woodden floor. A Slice of Heaven

Located on a quiet road a few steps away from the center of Saló, this apartment view was breathtaking. You are right off the lake, so you can take a quick dip and lay by the sun. With a remodeled kitchen and bathroom, it has all the amenities of a hotel. The check-in and check-out process was smooth; I have absolutely no complaints. The perfect summer stay for 1-2 people. We will be back!

Salo in September

This is a fine apartment with old style furnishings and grandeur. It is very spacious and comfortable. What makes this such a gem is the magnificent lake view, such that we used the balcony all the time for breakfast and dinner rather than the large dining area inside. We very much appreciated the prompt replies from Enrico whenever we had a query and also the help given to us by Giorgio on our arrival and departure.

Gewoonweg fantastisch

De vakantiewoning komt geheel overheen met de beschrijving. Het huis, direct aan het Gardameer, heeft de charme van een 100jarig herenhuis en de luxe van de moderne tijd. Echt een aanrader voor wie de drukte van het Gardameer opzoekt, maar wel de rust en het Italiaanse leven wil ervaren

Wie in einem Roman von Donna Leon...

traumhafte Lage direkt am See und fußläufig zum Altstadtzentrum von Salò, die Stadtvilla hat einen sehr romantischen Charakter und leicht morbiden Charme, sehr gut zum Relaxen und auch als Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen am südwestlichen Gardaseeufer.

A 5-star stay on Garda Lake: wonderful time in an amazing location!

We spent a weekend at Enrico’s wonderful place. The villa where the apartment is located is an ancient and well-maintained building (it dates back 20’s). It directly faces the lake where we had the chance to have a very fast bath, but being April we did not expect more than that. Of course we look forward to coming back in the summer to take a longer and more pleasant swim! Between the house and the lake there is a large garden with secular and scenting trees. We very much enjoyed our time there and sunbathed on the sunbeds provided, the landscape is breath-taking. The apartment that we rented is on the first floor, accessible through an elegant staircase directly from the garden. It is very spacious, clean and comfortable with windows on a marvelous terrace where we had our breakfast every morning. The interiors look very recently renovated (we loved both the wide spaces of the living room and the finely refurbished bathroom, as well as the wooden-floored bedroom), and the equipment provided met all our expectations. In the kitchen there’s everything one would need to prepare food, including a kettle and a coffee machine. In spite of the fresh revamping of the rooms, we were impressed by the history of the villa that you could notice from a lot of details, which we found an added value to the overall experience. Villa Maria is 5 mins walk from the charming and historical town of Salò, which has a lovely promenade by the lake and lots of typical restaurants, Italian-style cafès and shops (we had our best ice-cream there!). During our stay we met other guests, who were always kind and respectful. Enrico is a real superhost who helped us in all the possible ways and was extremely careful with our needs. He gave us also some tips on what to do on Garda Lake. Definitely recommended!

Traumlage am See !

Die einzigartige Lage direkt am See, das wunderschöne Ambiente der alten Villa und des Gartens macht dieses Haus zu etwas ganz Besonderem! Zudem ein sehr netter Vermieter, der rund um die Uhr erreichbar war und sich um die Gäste kümmert. Die Wohnung ist vor Kurzem aufwendig renoviert worden, die Stuckdecken, die alte Parkettböden alles erhalten und sehr gepflegt. Es gibt ein neues Bad und in der Küche war alles vorhanden. Die Lage des Hauses nach vorne hin, von der Gartenseite mit direktem Zugang zu Wasser, dahinter - der Eingangsbereich der Villa liegt an einer engen Straße, die nur zum Be- und Entladen des Autos genutzt werden kann. Parken ist dort nicht erlaubt, man muss das Auto etwas weiter weg parken, aber es gibt (ca. 500m) eine kostenpflichtige Parkgarage oder die Möglichkeit das Auto an der Straße abzustellen die oberhalb des Hauses verläuft. Der Ort Salo, war Anfang September nicht mehr so überlaufen und bietet viele schöne kleine Restaurants, schöne Geschäfte, alles vom Haus aus zu Fuß bequem zu erreichen. Wir waren sehr begeistert von diesem Haus und buchen es auf jeden Fall wieder !
