Living Room

Relax into coastal comfort with panoramic bay views framed by large windows. The wood-burning fireplace adds warmth and ambiance—perfect after a day of beachcombing or wine tasting. Curl up with a book, enjoy a movie night on our new 65" TV, or simply watch the tide roll in.

Kitchen & Dining

The fully equipped kitchen makes cooking a joy, from quick breakfasts before heading out to fresh seafood dinners at home. A bay-view dining area invites you to linger over meals while watching the changing light on the water.

Bedrooms

Primary Suite (King Bed): Wake up to sweeping water views and step out to the deck to catch the first light dancing on the tides.

Our home is a QUIET, peaceful home directly on the shore of Bodega Bay. The only sounds, noise we want our guests to remember are those of Bodega tides rolling in and out, birds, seals, otters and the fog horn and ocean waves crashing in the distance. Please be respectful to our neighbors and other guests. This is NOT a place to come and have a loud party. Please do not book with us if you are looking for a "party house".

Boathouse California Stay

It is an amazing location. Right on water watching the seals and birds and fishing boats . Great family vacation .A one of kind experience for us all . Recommend Highly !!

Amazing views and cute sea lion!

Clean, beautiful location looking out over bay. Even had a couple of visits from a local sea lion. We enjoyed our time visiting with college friends we see too little. Cabinets in kitchen were high. Very cozy.

Old town Bodega Bay

We had a wonderful mid week stay for my wife’s birthday. Two adult couples fit nicely on this first floor triplex. The owner Steve, was very helpful in every way. Parking was tight, but the owner is in the process of making it better. Looking forward to return again.

Wonderful stay and can’t wait to come back

We enjoyed our stay. The views from the house and deck are amazing. You can watch the beautiful sunset from the deck. We enjoyed watching the pelicans and seals. We loved having some games to play. We will definitely stay here again and can’t wait to come back. Would definitely recommend this place to others. The driveway is steep but wasn’t as bad as we thought it would be. The directions how to get to the place is a tremendous help and would recommend daylight for the first time arrival. Amazing place to stay and every room is well stocked of items you’ll need throughout the house during your stay. Amazing place.

Rustic and Sublime

This is one of those homes that I have always wanted to spend time in when driving through Bodega Bay over the decades. So this was a dream come true for me and my family to spend a birthday here. The hardest decision each day was whether to go out, or to just order take out from The Fishetarian, open a bottle of wine, and sit out on the deck to watch the sunset.

We really enjoyed this property. It is unique - over the water just as advertised. The market is practically next door. We loved watching the birds and the boats in the harbor. It was very relaxing and well supplied for our needs. Our dogs also loved it. The only thing for the dogs is that there isn't a good place around the property for them to do their business...it was a little bit of a haul to go up the street to the nearby neighborhood (also many skunk sitings). But other than that (and some nearby construction, not the owners' fault) it was perfect.

Pet friendly retreat in Bodega Bay!

If you like to relax with your pup, this is the place for you! The sweet looks over the bay and is a great place to enjoy watching the boats. Leave the harbor! It’s a really cool historic building and we really enjoyed having access down to the water!

Best view/experience ever!

The house was amazingly beautiful and well stocked with all of the necessities. The owners were nice and communicating with them was easy. The place is an overall 10/10. For my honest review here are a few things that we struggled with but not a big deal. The sofa bed, id leave it for the littles. Not suitable for adults. Lol... the house had animal hair flying around and on the floors. I communicated that to the owners and they send the cleaning lady to clean it up. But nothing major to not want to stay here. The biwes were amazing. Out of all 3 properties. Unitl 1 was the best view and a the biggest deck. Id sray again!

Exactly what we needed. The weather was amazing and sitting on that wonderful deck with the view of the bay was so relaxing. We have stayed in both of the apartments but this one is my favorite. Cozy and well appointed. Will be back for sure!

Family getaway.

Beautiful home and location

Loved sitting on the deck, which is right over the water, watching all the wildlife in and around the water. We felt very at home the minute we walked in. It's minutes from so many beaches and places to explore. Steve and Krista are wonderful host and are always available if you have questions. As many have said the driveway is a little tricky to maneuver but if you follow the instructions exactly as worded you will have no problem. Would definitely stay again!

We just returned from our annual mom/sisters weekend. Everything was great. The view cannot be beat. We loved a few of the changes from last year including new floors and deck furniture. See you next year!

What a gem!!

This Bodega Bay VRBO is literally on the water with a great balcony and lots of windows. My midwestern family had a lot of fun watching out for sea lions, birdlife, and fishing boats during our three night stay. The rental layout and beds were comfortable, with modern amenities throughout. Hosts were friendly and helpful. A couple of grocery stores and nice restaurants were within a walkable distance. .

Peaceful perfection

I was totally impressed with the location! I will admit I was concerned because the parking directions were so specific and I couldn’t quite get a good sense of the layout from the pictures. But when we got there, everything fell into place. The driveway is daunting but easier to manage with two people in the car. The entry is a key pad which was great, no key to keep track of. It was lovely and modern inside and literally worth every penny just to be right on the freaking water. We sat on the deck with binoculars and saw tons of wildlife. We didn’t have any kids with us, but 4 grown adults were perfectly comfortable. I love visiting Bodega Bay so I hope to stay here again.

Great Waterfront location

The place was exactly as described through the pictures and comments. Comfortable with great bay views (right on the bay). Good communication, easy check in, tricky driveway. Expensive, but my wife and I and our adult daughter really enjoyed the place! Glad we stayed here!
