This is a fabulous spot to stay with all kinds of goodies within walking distance. Mike provided EXCELLENT communication and my stay was absolutely outstanding. Oh, and the view from the window is tremendous! Enjoy!

The stay and location were good. The location is central downtown so everything is only a 5 - 10 min drive if you are wanting to be in that area. Communication with the hose was great and he was always very timely. We did get locked out of our room due to the lock battery not working and had to wait for the supervisor to arrive to manually unlock the door. Having to deal with that after a long day wasn't great but Michael was as communicative as he could be during that process. Overall, the stay was good.

Great property location and Host. The check-in process, however, was not good. The individual doing the check-in was grumpy and uncooperative. We would, however, rent this VRBO again; just be warned about the GRUMP.

Great location if the goal is to be close to Waikiki, for a fraction of the price of the nearby hotels. Check-in process was not the smoothest, but that's largely due to me booking last-minute and the host not seeing the booking before I arrived. The unit itself has a fantastic view of high rises and Le'ahi (Diamond Head) as well as the ocean. It's small but there is a basic kitchenette in case you want to use it. Bathroom was fine-water temp/pressure in the shower was good. Honestly, the biggest drawback was the temperature. There is an AC unit, but even with it cranked down to the high 60s the room temperature was still probably 8 degrees warmer than that. I chock it up to the windows catching a lot of sunlight throughout the day even with the curtains drawn. In any case, as long as you're mostly just using the apartment to sleep and get ready for the day's activities, it's fine. There is laundry and a pool on-site, though I didn't use either one. If I was trying to keep costs down for a trip to Oahu, I would absolutely stay here again!
