Perfect for our needs. Lot of rooms where sub groups could hang out if needed. Large locations available as well for whole group activities. Basement was impressive. Patio, fire pit ETC was a hit. Close to Dupont, so convenient visit to the three falls distance wise. Kitchen area was sufficient in size for our big group. Had a missing bulb in one of the rooms, which was fixed right away within half an hour of communication to the manager.
However, guest baths needed soft soap and extra toilet paper. Few rooms were locked out which was kind of unexpected.

Our family had a great time in this home, we loved the large living room and dining room, the firepit and scooters were also a big hit!
The kitchen is small and could use some cleaning out/organization of the cabinets and drawers. The kitchen faucet was broken, but did work, and the water pressure was extremely low at the kitchen sink. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

LOVE IT!
This was our second year at this cabin. We have a large group of guys that come to Brevard for mountain biking (best MTB destination on the East Coast!). With 10 separate beds, garage for bike storage / maintenance space, a fire pit and now a pool table....this cabin is perfect for us! Very nice accommodations.
Tessa was wonderful to work with and always quick to respond to emails. With Hurricane Florence impacting most of us on the trip to some extent we had to do a last minute reschedule and Tessa was able to accommodate that request. I realize that was wasn't required by her but it was greatly appreciated!

Large house gives roomy Reunion
My family rented this home for a base for our family reunions. The bedrooms are large, house comes with four floors of rooms. There are spaces for kids to play and adults to congregate. We used the fire pit for roosting marshmallows and making s’mores. The little children absolutely loved the playhouse and the seniors in our group kept quite happy in the roomy screened porch. It’s an easy 15 minute drive to Brevard, Pisgah National Forest or DuPont State Park.

Large home for big groups and great location near DuPont State Park
We had a great vacation in WNC and this was the perfect rental home for our large group of 13. It was great being a ~5 minute drive from Dupont State Park and also close to Brevard and Pisgah Forest. Place was clean and had nice space to hang out, yet still lots of bedrooms for privacy. Thanks again!

Beautiful Home, Perfect Location
My cycling team and I stayed here for spring training and it was perfect. The location was ideal (so close to Dupont forest and Brevard) and the riding nearby was incredible. Great home and property!
We could not have chosen a better place for a 14-person family gathering with extended family stopping by for meals. The home is relatively new and lovely and nicely situated just a quarter mile up a side road off a road that connects Dupont State Park with Brevard.
My only complaint is that there appeared to have been hasty preparation for our arrival. (We arrived the day after Christmas.) One bed wasn't made up, a bathroom lacked toilet paper (replacement found in the pantry), and stored items - especially in the kitchen - were even more disorganized than in other vrbo's. Bring your own paper towels and coffee filters. We had to drive 15 minutes into town to get filters so we could have coffee in the morning. Also, there was very little propane in the tank that came with the grill. We didn't quite have enough for the one meal we cooked using the grill.
Take care using the kitchen stove. It burns propane gas that puts out a larger flame than natural gas.
Even with these mostly minor concerns, the home is one of the best HomeAway VRBO's we've stayed in - therefore the 5 stars.
Because our crew included 2 infants and 2 toddlers, room arrangement was important to us. So you know: the main floor has an impressive master suite, living room, kitchen and large dining room (and a tuned piano in the hallway!). 4 other bedrooms are on the 2nd level with an open loft toy area w/tv on the 3rd floor. The basement includes a sparsely furnished bedroom with king bed, separate bath, lounge/pool room, desk nook, and well-equipped exercise room. As others have mentioned, sounds travel in the house, through the hallways as well as the floors. Since the basement door could close off sounds, the lower level lounge became our late-night retreat area and the early morning play area for the 3-year-old who woke up at 6 each day. At all other times, we were able to spread out with multiple activities.
It was too cold to enjoy the fire pit and outdoor play area, but there's plenty of space to spread out and relax outside, too! The previous complaint about inadequate grill size must have been addressed. There are both charcoal and gas grills, and there was sufficient grill space for our cookout that fed 20.

Spacious property suitable for large group
Our group of 5 couples and 4 singles enjoyed a great weekend of fishing the nearby streams. Everyone had enough space and we really enjoyed the fire pit.
My only suggestion is a larger grill for a house of this size.
Everything was in order when we arrived. I recommend this home for a large crowd.

Great Family retreat
We had a family wedding to attend and LOVE that we were all able to stay in the same location. SO MUCH ROOM. Nicely tucked away in the mountains and away from lots of neighbors. The whole experience was fantastic. They have a great fire pit and things for the kids do do outside. I also really appreciated a 2 day minimum stay over a three day which was much better for our situation. Anything we had questions about, they were very helpful and responsive. Would love to stay here again in the future! We highly recommend this location.

Very nice accommodations
I can't imagine a better place to stay for large group of guys coming to the area for a biking weekend. We had a great time and the house was perfect for us. Tessa was great to work with and always very prompt in any questions/concerns that I had leading up to the trip. If we come back to the area for another mountain biking weekend I'm sure we try to stay at this property.

Very spacious!
The space was great! We never felt cramped, and it was very private. The house was nice overall, with only a few minor inconveniences (sink handle was broken, gas stove that seemed to produce a lot of gas into the air, etc.). The only reason I really gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because of those few things mentioned and the fact that you can hear every step of the floor above you in the house. It took us awhile to get to sleep, but the beds and rooms themselves were EXTREMELY comfortable! Would consider going back!

Tons of Space
We stayed and performed a team meeting at this property. Tessa was very responsive leading up to the stay, and the place didn't disappoint. Plenty of bedrooms, plenty of space, and very clean. The only recommendations I would make is to have more towels available and to warn renters that there's no shampoo or soap at the house prior to. That may have already been in the description, but I missed it. We left full bottles of shampoo and soap for the next renters. Other than that, the place is wonderful, and the next renters will love it.

Outstanding home with the charm of the NC mountains area and the comfort of your own place
We stayed in Tessa’s mountain retreat over Father’s day weekend and our family had an excellent experience with this property and its owner. The house is beautiful, modern and spacious; it has enough rooms and bathrooms to accommodate everyone and all the amenities for a flawless vacation. The property has three levels with two big family rooms for entertainment. Besides the space inside the house, the lot has a fire pit where we had a blast sharing s’mores and stories with our children every night. In addition to this, the location of this property could not be better; we enjoyed the privacy of the place, while being just a short 15 minutes’ drive from both Brevard and Hendersonville (no gravel road either). We had privacy while enjoying the convenience of restaurants, parks and shops. Finally, the owner was very easy to wok and to communicate with. This was important to us, since you don’t want to add more work and tasks to your family vacation. We would definitely recommend this property if you are traveling in this area.

Beautiful home with amazing private location!
My family and I traveled to NC to celebrate my brother's birthday and had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful home. The home was very spacious and easily accommodated our group of 15. Our favorite part was the firepit. The property is very private so we were able to enjoy family time by the fire late into the night. The front and back porches are great for early morning coffee. The owner was very responsive and a pleasure to work with. Overall, we had a great experience and hope to return again next summer!

Beautiful home in lovely setting. Plenty of room for all. Easy drive to awesome trails!
Tessa and Roderick were incredibly helpful and accessible, both during our planning and during our stay, when we could not figure out the WiFi password. Their house is lovely. The entire group (13 people) had a terrific time! (And we were nowhere near capacity.) Thank you for providing such a great oasis away from life. Cheers!
