About this property
Spacious 4 Bedroom/3 Full Bathroom Family Friendly Townhouse in Quechee Lakes
Recently updated, Ideal, Air Conditioned family vacation Deere Run 2700 sq ft Townhouse in Quechee. 4 bedrooms (sleeps MAXIMUM 6 adults, 4 kids). 2 master bedrooms (one on main floor, few stairs) 3 full bathrooms, 2 brand-new state-of-the-art water heaters (meaning hot showers for all), smart TV's, large deck. Strong upgraded wifi throughout unit. Zooms won't fail. New refrigerator, new couch, new microwave, master baths recently upgraded. New game/TV room for kids (or adults: real Pacman/Galaga arcade game, no quarters). Close shopping, dining. Access for renters to condo-association owned kidney shaped pool right outside door. Pets considered (add cleaning fee). 2nd fridge on lower level in laundry room for extra stuff.
Condo features: 4 bedrooms (sleeps 8) including 2 master bedrooms. Brand new air conditioning system for these increasingly hot Vermont summers, two brand-new state-of-the-art water heaters means even with a full house, everybody gets a nice hot shower, even on the coldest Quechee ski-hill day. Strong wifi for the modern family as well as the latest smart TV's to run streaming apps. Parking is steps from the front door, a nice plus in foul winter weather. Located a few blocks off Route 4 means easy access, a short drive to excellent local markets, but still nice, quiet and removed.
Wood burning fireplace on main floor, sauna and jacuzzi in upstairs master bath meaning when the temps are dipping outside you are warm and Quechee-cozy inside. Main floor living room for the adults, downstairs family room for the kids. Also beautiful family deck with partial (seasonal) water views. Full access to Quechee Lakes amenities (fees involved) including: clubhouse, feature indoor pool, private and reasonably priced ski-hill, especially for the family with small children (you might even say "cheap" when compared to the major nearby ski hills. Lots of people choose to stay in Quechee to ski the Quechee Hill most days and plan a "big" ski day at a nearby premiere mountain, often mid-week for better lift-ticket prices and more manageable crowds). A 3-day Quechee Ski Hill/2-day Killington/Okemo (both 45 minutes away) ski vacation is the norm. And if the weather doesn't cooperate, the Quechee club has a nice indoor pool that the kids often enjoy to kill a few hours. And of course tax-free shopping just across the Connecticut River in Lebanon NH, (everything from LL Bean and Best Buy to Walmart to BJ's).
Lake, golf, tennis, gym, etc etc (guest fees apply). Washer/dryer. Ideal for extended family rental. (Pets considered for additional fees, please be specific re: pets in your inquiry)
If you can, try to fit in a few hours to tour the campus of beautiful Dartmouth University, also a quick 20 minute drive from our condo. Some nice restaurants and shopping there in Hanover as well.
And of course you should plan a special brunch, lunch or dinner at the world famous, picturesque Simon Pearce restaurant (google it, you will see what I mean. Too beautiful to describe here). A must visit destination on virtually every New England travel list.
And I'd be remiss if I didn't put in a plug for the wings, sliders and craft IPA's on tap at Public House.
Feed the kids pizza from Pizza Chef, put on a movie and head out to dinner with the Adults to nearby Woodstock, West Lebanon. There is even a drive-in movie theater about half hour away for old time summer fun.
Check this link out to NBC Boston for latest on all the great food the Woodstock/Quechee area has to offer. Foodies delight!
