Cozy little cottage for two in the magnificent Malvern Hills

Set in the superbly convenient location of the village of Colwall this lovely terraced cottage is an ideal base for exploring the area. From the front door of the cottage it is only a 2 min walk to : Station ( DIRECT LINK to LONDON ) , a country house hotel with cocktail bar, restaurant and lovely gardens, a trendy licenced cafe ( great breakfasts ), a local mini market, post office , hairdresser and pharmacy.
Access to the countryside and hill walks are also only minutes away.
You would only need a car if you wanted to explore further afield.

Primrose cottage is open plan featuring a snug area with log burner and 2 comfy sofas, a full size country dining table, a spacious country kitchen with elec oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher and breakfast bar. There is a downstairs cloakroom with wash basin, WC and a freezer. Outside is a pretty split level courtyard garden with decking and a bistro set and a flower beds set in golden Cotswold chippings.
Upstairs is a double bedroom to the front and a large dressing room to the rear with bathroom off. Bath with shower over, vanity unit and WC.

Very much enjoyed staying at Primrose Cottage for a few days whilst we visited RHS Spring Show and the Malvern Hills area (shame the Show this year was such a disappointment). The Cottage though was very comfortable, clean and well equipped. Thank you

Excellent cottage

This cottage is located central in the village which is ideal for the local shop, cafe, tea rooms, hotel and railway station. It’s beautifully decorated throughout with lots of nice touches for the most comfortable stay. The cottages garden is really pretty to sit out in relaxing with a coffee. We walked the Malvern Hills while at the cottage, visited Ledbury which is well worth a visit. We would definitely recommend to anyone, it’s a gem of a cottage!

So good, went again.

The house is spotlessly clean and has everything thoughtfully provided for a relaxing stay. Quiet location but still has all amenities on hand. Train station to two cities or a walk on the Malvern Hills. This is the second time of staying, and it was just as good as first time. There will be a third.

The cottage was very well equipped, very clean and very comfortable for 1 weeks holiday. The area is lovely with plenty to do and places to visit. We particularly liked the village of Colwall. One comment for the owners is that it would improve the facilities in the cottage if the fridge had contained a freezer compartment for frozen food that guests staying for 1 week (or more) would find invaluable.

The perfect cottage to stay in a beautiful area. We had everything we needed to feel at home for our 4 night stay. Lovely welcome basket of tea and biscuits and milk for a cup of tea after a long journey. The little back garden was perfect to sit outside in the sun and relax. We will definitely be back! A loverly get-away

Best things are kept secret, so I’m reluctant to rave about this place, so I can go again. However… It is a charming little cottage very well decorated and kitted-out. Lots of thought has gone into making it a delightful place to stay without having to worry about what you might need. The house and garden are perfect for relaxing or a base for walks, or taking the train to Gt Malvern, Hereford or Worcester. Will certainly stay again.

Have just spent 7 weeks at this idyllic property. Cottage is in the perfect location and has everything you need. A real home from home. Owners were prompt to reply to any questions and accommodated all our needs. I urge anyone thinking of renting this cottage to do it. You won’t regret your decision and will almost certainly feel a twinge of sadness when it’s time to leave. It’s a 5* thumbs up from us! 😀

We enjoyed our stay apart from heating issues which did impact our enjoyment, a few cold days and nights. the water pressure at the shower meant we were scolded and next cold. A simple fix .Sticky key pad lock did mean the house was open unintentionally

A week away from it all

Cannot fault the property. Had everything we needed (and a lot besides!). Very comfortable - a cosy place for two. Location is great. Easy to find, across the road from the pub, a stone's throw from an excellent coffee shop and a few minutes from the railway station. Easy access to some great walking in the Malvern Hills. Thoroughly recommended.

Pretty Cottage near Malvern

We absolutely fell in love with this little cottage as soon as we walked through the door! So beautifully decorated and furnished in a country Shabby Chic style with everything you could want for a comfortable stay - I'd be happy to live here permanently! The owners even left a welcome pint of milk, biscuits, tea & coffee for us which was a lovely touch. Everything was spotlessly clean and well looked after and the bed super comfortable. There's a delightful cottage garden out the back and a little one out front to relax in & the owner doesn't mind if you want to deadhead & water which I was pleased to do as love gardening! 😀 Colwalls lovely and peaceful ( much better than staying in nearby busy Malvern) near the property is a shop, post office, pharmacy, butchers, cafe morso which serves great breakfasts and the colwall Park Hotel which serves great meals. There's also a train stop nearby ( never noticed any train noise) where you can get to hereford or Worcester. This cottage is ideal for a getaway break for a couple an an ideal base to explore many towns around ( Ledbury was lovely!) Definitely recommend & would go again. Only problem is I've come home and want to decorate my house now as stylish as this one!!!

There is no doubt that apart from it being a beautifully comfortable cottage it is situated right in the heart of the village and within 50 metres of the front door you have a Post Office, Florist, Pharmacy, Bistro style cafe, convenience store with off licence and Country House Hotel with Cocktail Bar, Restaurant and grounds.
