This beautifully appointed 1,500 sq. ft. ground-level apartment is part of a 6,000 sq. ft. luxury home and features its own private entrance, making it ideal for families, couples, or extended stays.

The apartment includes:
• A full kitchen with large refrigerator, oven, and Keurig coffee maker
• Hardwood flooring and updated furnishings throughout
• A spacious living area with 55” Samsung HDTV.
• A primary bedroom with king-size bed, sitting area, and flat screen TV
• A full bathroom with tile shower
• Washer and Dryer are available upon request

Set on a premier waterfront lot, the property offers beautiful sunrise and sunset views over Lake Norman, along with a quiet cove perfect for relaxing and swimming without heavy boat traffic.

Enjoy full access to outdoor amenities, including:
• Private covered dock
• Paddle board, 2 kayaks, canoe and floats
• 7-person hot tub overlooking the lake

For larger groups or additional guests, there is also a separate private suite on the property (sleeps 2), allowing families or friends to stay nearby while maintaining privacy. This suite may be rented with other guests during your stay.(VRBO Property #1447818)

Reading previous reviews with all 10s made me choose this property for a 2 night getaway. The apartment was immaculate, which is priority to me,, and very comfortable. More than enough room for 2 people. Lots of amenities (appreciated everything we needed for our morning coffee) and the host was excellent at communicating. Even before booking I had questions and she was quick to respond. The outdoor space is beautiful with stunning lake views. Very relaxing indeed. We are familiar with the area and there are lots of restaurants and supermarkets close by. Great area also if you bring your bike or just want to take a walk. Absolutely would return here for another getaway. Thank you Dawn for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful home.

Steve and Dawn have been married for 29 years and have two children who both graduated from High Point University. Steve spent 21 years in the Marine Corps and retired in 2005 as a Major. Prior to moving to North Carolina, Dawn was a special education teacher in New Jersey and Steve was a Custom Home Builder. Steve and Dawn have relocated "Wilkinson Custom Homes" to North Carolina and build one or two houses a year. Dawn enjoys landscaping and traveling and Steve is hopelessly addicted to the sport of golf. The Wilkinson's have two Golden Retrievers who will greet you upon your arrival.

Why they chose this property

The home is located on a "Point Lot" on Lake Norman which affords 270 degrees of lake view. The home also has a boat house built in 1962 which the VRBO guests will also have access to. There is a back porch for the guests with a table and chairs and there is also a gas grill available for guest use.
