The house is on two floors: the ground floor, living room with fireplace, sofa and armchairs, dining room and fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, refrigerator, concelatore in the upper compartment of the refrigerator, oven, coffee maker, dishes, cutlery, bicchiri , goblets. Upstairs two bedrooms with double bed and twin beds, wardrobe, bedside table and chairs, and a bathroom (bath with shower, bidet). The shower is equipped with doors in plexi-glass. In the bathroom and washing machine. If necessary, a provision is the cradle of the cot. Our house is away from traffic, quiet and completely safe for children that are free to play at any point of our estate.

Great stay in nice house

We had a great week in the pretty house on a hill. 3 terraces to possibly sit and lunch, dependent of the sun, was very nice. Great pool, cleaned daily with comfortable sunchairs. Very quiet place to relax, we liked it a lot. Very clear and friendly Communication with the owner of the property. Cannot wait to open the bottles of wine from the vineyard soon. Many thanks.

Wunderbare Tage in Ornina

Wir haben zwei wunderbare Wochen in der schönen Umgbung geniessen dürfen. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet - die klimaanlagen ein Segen an heissen Tagen. Wir wurden gut empfangen. Das Haus ist besonders durch die Lage an dem angrenzenden Winzer und seiner reizenden Familie ein echter Tipp. Gerne wären wir länger geblieben.

Alles in allem: Wunderschöner Urlaub!

Alles in allem: Wunderschöner Urlaub! Wir sind eine 4-köpfige Familie aus Nordhessen, die 2 erholsame Wochen bei Cecilia und Massimo verbracht hat und die das Haus voll und ganz weiterempfehlen möchte. Haus Ornina und das ganze Grundstück sind absolut super: die Lage ist wunderschön und ruhig, und da das Bauernhaus ein Steinhaus mit dicken Mauern ist, bleibt es auch im Sommer sehr angenehm. Sehr schöner Pool: man sieht nur Natur. Wir haben uns sehr entspannt am grossen Pool und die Kinder haben viel Spass gehabt! Das Haus und die Küche sind gut ausgestattet und man hat alles, was man braucht. Wir hatten auchunser Barbecue im Garten: Das Wetter hat in den beiden Wochen hervorragend mitgespielt und es war ein ausgesprochen schöner Urlaub. Es war schön, sich zu erholen, gutes Essen und Wein zu genießen und einfach Spaß zu haben. Besonders geeignet für Familien und Naturfreunde.

De bien jolies vacances

Un petit paradis pour les amoureux de la campagne et du calme. L'accueil est adorable et le contact de réservation absolument charmant. Nul ne vous dérange et vous pouvez alterner visites et farniente. La Casentino est méconnu et... tant mieux ! Adorable village à proximité (Talla) avec toutes les commodités. Grosses courses possibles à Bibienna, à 15 minutes de voiture. L'habitat est simple mais très bien agencé, il ne manque rien ! Que pourrait on améliorer ? Pas grand chose à dire vrai ! Peut être une chose : traiter contre les taons (mouches qui piquent) ou placer des pièges à Taons à proximité de la piscine. En tout cas, des vacances bien jolies. Merci !

Thank you also for appreciating both the host and the organization of the booking, arrival and acceptance. It's true that nowadays it is easy to organize thanks internet and the satellite coordinates ... thanks anyway because you use in your review the nice words "absolument charmant". It was a pleasure to have you as our guests and we hope you to come back to Ornina to enjoy the authentic life of the Casentino, that as you say is not so known but beautiful. We are really very sorry because of "taons”, horseflies. Unfortunately this did not depend on us, but on this strange, strange winter and summer 2014. All the countryside suffered this year because of an overcrowding of horseflies. Wherever there was this nasty problem, it was a surprise to everyone and no one remembers such a proliferation of these animals. It is said that it depends on the fact that the winter was not cold enough and that spring and summer saw too unusual much water! More I can’t say. I'm sorry anyway. Aus der Hektik des Alltags abtauchen

Wir waren mit drei Kindern im wunderschönen Ornina.Es hat allen Familienmitgliedern fantastisch gefallen.Jeder konnte seinen Lieblingsplatz finden.Der von den Kindern war natürlich am Pool oder in den gemütlichen Sitzecken in Begleitung der niedlichen Katzen vom Grundstück.Wir Eltern konnten die Kinder beruhigt allein umhergehen lassen,da weit und breit keine Straße in der Nähe ist.Die Lage ist wunderschön,abseits,aber trotzdem sind Ausflugsziele gut zu erreichen.Der Abschied fiel uns nicht leicht und wir werden ganz sicher versuchen noch einmal wieder zu kommen. Immer wieder gerne!

Meine Familie und ich haben letzten Sommer die Ferienwohnung von Cecilia und Massimo gebucht und durften dort einen wunderschönen Urlaub verbringen. Die Wohnung war mit allem ausgestattet, was man als Familie gut gebrauchen kann (Waschmaschine, Geschirrspüler, Kinderhochstuhl etc.) und ließ für uns keine Wünsche offen. Der Gemeinschaftspool war besonders für die Kinder das Highlight und wurde immer gerne benutzt. Die schöne Lage zwischen Wäldern und Weinbergen und die gute Verbindung mit dem Auto zu den Städten Florenz, Arezzo, Siena, Perugia lässt die Ferienwohnung zu einem echten Geheimtipp werden. Ich bin mir sicher, dass wir nicht zum letzten Mal unseren Urlaub im Casa Ornina verbracht haben werden.

The Ideal spot for spending a relaxing holiday

A splendid farm (agriturismo) immersed in the charming Tuscan hills with a beautiful view over the “Valle Casentinese” valley. The surrounding area is beautiful, unspoilt, peaceful, away from traffic and does not suffer from a great influx of tourists. Ornina is a very small village, but 5 to 10 minutes drive from the house you find groceries, restaurant, post office, bank etc. The beautiful city of Arezzo is only 20 km away. Famous for its ancient churches and the stunning frescos by Piero della Francesca and every first weekend of the month it hosts Italy's most important antiques fair. And we were lucky to see the training for the “Giostra dei Saraceni”, a knightly game from the Middle Ages. We have visited other famous cities such as Cortona, Florence, Siena, Montalcino, Pienza and San Gimignano, but we also enjoyed the small towns like Bibbiena and Poppi. The family has an old tradition (10 generations) of making wine, just ask Marco and you can taste and buy the biologic wine “VALLECHIUSA”. Ausgezeichnet !

Wir, eine Gruppe von Freunden aus Offenbach am Main , haben unsere Sommerferien in Ornina bei Cecilia und Massimo verbracht. Die ideale Unterkunft fuer Eltern mit Kindern ( wir hatten beide Wohnungen gemietet ) Die Aussicht ins Tal war ueberwaeltigend, die Wohnungen sauber und gepflegt.. Die ganze Umgebung wunderschoen, ein perfektes Urlaubsdomizil. Kulturzentren wie Florenz, Siena, Perugia, Poppi etc... sind gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen ( Florenz in einer guten Stunde ) Auch den Garten mit dem Pool haben wir oft und gerne bei einem Glas Wein genossen! Kurz gesagt: Casa Ornina ist der ideale Ort in der Toscana, um einen ruhigen Urlaub mit Familie zu verbringen.
