About this property

The Nook door is always open please come and stay in our luxury Cotswold Annexe. Are you looking to enjoy a break in the Cotswolds or do you need to stay somewhere homely for work? So much is on offer in the area, please see below for all the details.

Our annex is totally self contained with it's own entrance leading into the light and airy main living area where you will find the sumptuous king size bed and small sofa where you can sit and relax, a full size fridge with freezer box and a cute breakfast bar for two. Leading on from here you will find a compact and bijou country kitchenette with large sink, microwave, toaster, kettle with tea and coffee. The ensuite bathroom has a super modern shower that you can bluetooth your music to whilst the colour changing lights add to the ambiance, oh, it will spray you with water as well.!
The room has been fitted with white wooden shutters for your privacy which adds a little chic touch as we designed the room to bring the boutique hotel feel to Minster Lovell.

The property has its own parking right outside and is accessed via a wooden gate along a cobbled path.

Minster Lovell is located on the edge of the Cotswolds, minutes from Burford, Blenhiem Palace, Caswell House (gorgeous wedding venue) and only 20 minutes from the centre of Oxford. We are only 40 minutes from Cheltenham, ideal for the races. Soho farmhouse, Diddly Squat and Daylesford are accessible easily from here. If you fancy some retail therapy Bicester designer outlet shopping village is a wonderful day out. There is a public bus stop immediately outside the house and the nearest railway station is Charlbury which is only a 15 minute drive.

Lovely property

The Nook was lovey! Comfortable bed and lots of lovely nice touches that made us feel welcome. Bottle of wine chilling in the fridge along with some home made cakes which were waiting for us when we arrived. The host was super friendly and could not do enough for us! Thank you!

Great Weekend in “The Nook”

Beautifully appointed annex, adjacent to owners’ property. Room had everything you needed for a lovely few days away. Our hosts had put in many thoughtful touches and the homemade cake was lovely, a bottle of wine and Nespresso coffee machine to name a few. Communication was great and hosts very friendly. Cleanliness superb. Situated a short drive from Oxford and the Cotswolds.

Wonderful

Ideal property for a get away from it all, with plenty to do close by. The property definitely had the wow factor even before you walk through the door with the beautiful garden. Everything in the property was beautifully done with all the comforts of home and some luxury extras (wine, home made cakes and a coffee machine). The host was lovely and stopped in for a quick chat and offer of anything else we may have needed. machine

Glorious Cotswolds

This is such a delightful property and more spacious than the photos lead you to believe. Vikki is a great communicator with nothing being too much trouble. She found out about all the bus routes for us, recommended places to eat and supplied us with wine, milk and delicious homemade cakes. We cannot recommend it highly enough. Thank you so much Vikki

We are a happy family of 3, well 5 if you include the dog Oscar and the cat, Lottie or Poopy as all cats have nicknames ...... don't they!!!!! We love our home and have lived here since 2004. I (Vikki) work with the elderly and with children so caring is my passion as well as making people smile. Simon (loves cars) and has worked with Volvo for many years, and then there is Alice our beautiful girl. We will welcome you and hopefully you will feel at home here as much as we do.
