## Neighborhood
Praia da Luz is a small resort town located on the incredible Algarve coastline 10km west of Lagos. Praia da Luz or just Luz, was originally a small fishing village on the edge of sandy bay surrounded by cliffs. This sandy bay sheltered by cliffs means it’s a perfect family beach destination. Although the town is now more of a holiday resort it still retains some of the original features from its historical past. The bigger town Lagos is less than 10 minutes' drive away and in the other direction, you will find many small beach towns and breathtaking beaches. Perfect for family, beach and watersport (surf) trips.
Lagos is the perfect holiday destination with a lively historical center full of shops, (super)markets, a marina, bars and restaurants. It is known for its breathtaking cliffs and we highly recommend a boat, kayak or SUP tour to see them from the water. The town has a picturesque historical center, great food and friendly people. As it is located on the coast you can enjoy several watersports activities such as surfing and sailing. There are many activities for all ages and preferences in this area.
## Transit
You can reach Lagos in about one hour by car from Faro Airport and car rental is available in the parking lot of the airport. By train it will take about 2,5 to 3 hours. You can walk into town and the beach from the apartment
Lagos has a train station (for travel towards Faro, Lisbon and Porto) and a bus station (for buses towards the west-side of the south coast) but do note that buses and trains only go a few times per day. You can easily get around without a car and there are plenty of taxis and Ubers available, but if you really want to explore the area surrounding Lagos, a (rental) car will make your life a whole lot easier.

Nicht ganz zufriedenstellend
Leider waren wir etwas enttäuscht. Bei unserer Ankunft war die Terrasse nicht gereinigt, und auch der Boden im Wohnzimmer schien nicht gründlich gesäubert zu sein. Der Fernseher funktionierte nur mit viel Geduld – das Smart-TV reagierte sehr langsam und die Fernbedienung war trotz neuer Batterien unzuverlässig.
Die Fußbodenheizung funktionierte gut in Wohnzimmer und Flur, aber nicht in den Schlafzimmern. Rental Valley war aber bemüht sich schnell um eine Reparatur zu kümmern, zum TV und der nicht gesäuberten Terrasse äußerte sich auf meine Mail niemand.
Insgesamt wirkte die Wohnung weniger gepflegt als andere Unterkünfte im Baia da Luz, in denen Freunde und Familie von uns zuvor gewohnt hatten. Wir hoffen, dass diese Punkte zukünftig verbessert werden, da die Wohnung großes Potenzial hat und die Anlage selbst sehr schön ist.
El apartamento es estupendo muy amplio y con mucha luz, en un lugar tranquilo.
Creo que deberían supervisar el apartamento antes de ocuparlo, ya que encontramos algunas deficiencias, luces cocina de 4 fluorescente sólo funcionaba uno, terraza también luz que no funcionaba, baño de la suite el extractor hacia mucho ruido.
Tema toallas sólo había un juego por baño, creo insuficiente para una semana.
Debería haber algún producto de limpieza ya que en toda la semana no vino nadie a limpiar.

Nuestro equipo está proporcionando 1 juego de toallas (1 grande y 1 pequeño) para cada huésped durante la estancia. Nuestro servicio de limpieza incluye las toallas frescas, la ropa de cama y un alojamiento limpio a su llegada. No proporcionamos una limpieza a mitad de la estancia por nuestra parte, sin embargo se puede solicitar por un cargo extra.
Revisaremos definitivamente el problema de las luces que ha mencionado, para asegurarnos de actualizar el alojamiento.
Nos encantaría volver a recibirle para mostrarle nuestras mejoras gracias a sus comentarios.

Large spacious apartment, very clean and modern.
Only slight fault, the patio furniture isn't comfortable and could do with loungers or reclining chairs.

Very functional modern apartment close to the beach & a short walk in to town. Large sunny terrace, and the complex has a lovely sheltered private pool area.
Slightly noisy with any people staying on the floors above, and early morning refuse collection, but overall a very comfortable flat & a very enjoyable 8-week winter stay.

Beautiful Apartment
Great apartment close to everything. Comfortable and plenty of space. Large balcony gets the sun most of the day. Because of lockdown we requested an extension to our stay and Rental Valley staff were very helpful and accommodating (no pun intended). Will definitely use again.
