Casa Nickel is on the Costa Brava and is perfectly located for beautiful sandy beaches, scenic walks, golf courses, marinas and Girona Airport, which is 30 minutes away. We are also close to the major towns of Platja D'Aro, Sant Antoni, Calonge, St Feliu and Santa Cristina, all of which are fantastic places to visit from the villa. The villa is light and airy.
Casa Nickel has 4 bedrooms, all individually named. The details are: The Aiqua Blava is a deluxe air-conditioned double room with en suite facilities. It has its own external entrance. Patio doors leading to the Jacuzzi terrace where there are sunbeds, table & chairs and large walk-in Barbecue.
The Tamariu is a double air-conditioned room that overlooks the mountains and the sea with en suite facilities.
The Llafranc room is a double air-conditioned room with luxury en suite facilities and fantastic views of Palamos Bay.
The S'Agaro room is a twin room with air-conditioning and en suite facilities.
There is a fully fitted kitchen, dining room and lounge with free sat TV.

Amazing location and lovely villa

Spent 10 days in this villa. Really clean and well presented. Pool is brilliant. Views of the surrounding area and sea are outstanding from such a great vantage point. Area really quiet and felt safe. Local towns and amenities not a long drive away. Locals and host very friendly and helpful.

Todo fue genial. La anfitriona Joan estuvo en todo momento ayudandonos con todo y fue muy simpática. La casa es enorme y espectacular. Además a 20 min de muchas calas preciosas de la costa brava repetiremos 100% seguros.

Wonderful

This property is much better than even the pictures. Beautifully decorated, impeccably, clean, super comfortable with everything you could need for your holiday. We love the pool and the hot tub with the views. The Owner was super nice and extremely helpful with suggestions and recommendations. Our state could not have been better and we can’t wait to come back.

Super villa, echt aanrader

Wij verbleven in juli 2023 in deze villa, en kunnen niets anders zeggen dan dat het een aanrader is. Joan is een super aardige gastvrouw, die zorg dat het aan niets ontbreekt. De villa voldoet aan de omschrijving. Het is mooi en modern. De kamers hebben allemaal een eigen badkamer en airco. Het zwembad , wat 2 x per week wordt gereinigd en de jacuzi hebben een mooi uitzicht op de kust. De ligging van de villa is ideaal. Je ben binnen enkele minuten in de kust plaatsen en er zijn voldoende supermarkten in de buurt. Dit is echt een top villa , aanrader !!

Enjoyable villa

We were happy to stay in this very complete villa with all possible amenities, heated pool and jacuzzi. The views are gorgeous and we liked the privacy and the several seating areas in the garden. Our host Joan was more than accommodating and kindly provided lots of little household things like coffee pods, tea, spices, oil, which make a stay do much easier. Thank you again!

Superb holiday and villa

After 3 years we finally got to Spain and this villa. It was well worth the wait. What a lovely villa and location for us and suited us perfectly. It was clean and had everything we needed and a great host. Hopefully we will be able to go again in the future.

Lovely stay

Had a great time here with my family of 5. Great pool, great balcony with a spectacular view and a nice breeze. And the kids loved the whirlpool with the views over see and city of Palamos.

Magnifique maison

La maison est magnifique , bien située , bien équipée. C'est le top du top ! Jacuzzi chauffé avec vue sublime. Superbe piscine . Terrasse bien exposée avec banne solaire et vue exceptionnelle pendant les repas. Sans oublié Joan qui est très sympathique et disponible si nécessaire .

perfect vakantiehuis voor familie

Een heerlijke vakantie gehad in Casa Nickel met ons hele gezin. Joan heeft diverse meubels vervangen evenals de keuken. In werkelijkheid is het mooier dan op de foto's. We zijn heel hartelijke ontvangen door Joan en hadden tussendoor contact via de app, waarbij zij heel snel reageerde.

Einfach toll!

Haus entspricht absolut der Beschreibung. Hochwertig ausgestattet, sehr sauber, einzigartige Lage und Aussicht. Joan hat uns sehr herzliche empfangen und verabschiedet. Sehr gute Kommunikation mit ihr, haben Corona bedingt, 4 x umgebucht! Einziges Manko war die Müllbeseitigung, dafür kann aber Joan nichts, sondern die Gemeinde.

2nd visit- so happy to be back

Wonderful second stay!

This was our second stay in Joan's villa. The villa has everything you need for a perfect vacation. It is clean, has a great pool and jacuzzi and a beautiful view. We highly recommend this villa to everyone!

Prima huis met adembenemend uitzicht.

Het huis ligt prachtig hoog op de heuvels in Cabanyes. De wijk is de mooiste van de omgeving. Het huis was schoon, iedere kamer heeft een eigen badkamer en de eigenaresse is alleraardigst. Wij hebben er genoten met familie van 10-75 jaar.

CasaNickel is owned by Trevor and Joan Holt who moved to the Costa Brava in 2001 and set up the villa as a successful bed and breakfast. Today we rent the villa all year round and live locally.
Trevor spent 9 years in the Royal Name and travelled to 85 countries during his service. A great many have been introducted to me over the years but have to admit, whilst enjoyable, the Costa Brava has everything we need all year round.
Both of us have run our own IT businesses in the UK and were preferred suppliers to numerous prestigious organisations, such as BP. McKinsey's, Midland Bank.. and may more

Why they chose this property

Trevor stayed on the Costa Brava with his best friend and family for many years when he was a boy. He loved the area so much that his ambition was to one day live in this beautiful area.
He introducted the area to me just after we were married and I too fell in love with the area. Hence when we closed our companies in the UK to retire (according to my husband), we moved here and have no regrets.
