SUPERB FAMILY VILLA, OVERLOOKING THE SEA WITH PRIVATE HEATED (OPTIONAL) POOL

We are pleased to announce that we are supporting VRBO‘s 10% early booking discount scheme. Furthermore please note that from time to time we will negotiate, if it’s in the interests of both parties.
Secluded family villa located in the sought after area of Coveta Fuma near to El Campello. This perfect family villa offers spacious, light and airy accommodation on one level, with spectacular sea views to the east, south and south-west, and a private swimming pool, which has the option of being heated (see rules and policies/house rules/custom rules). Note that heating the pool can take several days depending on the water starting temperature, the air temperature, if there’s a breeze, the hours of sunshine and whether or not the pool cover/thermal blanket is in place, with the latter being the only variable that we have control over, and so it is in your interest to give us as much notice as possible.

We will always do our best to accommodate your arrival and departure requirements, whether that be an earlier or later than 4pm check-in, or an earlier or later than 10am check-out. Note that very late arrivals after 9pm can be accommodated for a late check-in fee of 100 euros, payable to the girls on arrival.

Fibre broadband / hi speed internet. Smart TV with access to Netflix, Disney, Amazon Prime, etc.

The villa has awnings for those who prefer the shade, and many cool areas of the garden in which to relax. It also benefits from hot/cold air conditioning, a large wood burner in the lounge, and has additional heaters for the cooler months. Available on request is a travel cot, Chess set and playing cards.

Being located only a 20/25 minute drive from Alicante airport, the location could not be more perfect, and we are pleased to offer a basic welcome pack for your convenience on arrival.

Family holiday

Great property, with a lovely pool and great views of the sea. Nearby are some lovely bars and restaurants and 10 mins walk away is the Alicante to Benidorm tramline, which is perfect for getting up and down the coast. El Capello, 5 mins on tram is a great place for the beach and beach side restaurants.

Beautiful stay

This is a wonderful villa, very well equipped with beautiful outdoor spaces, it's much more spacious than the pictures suggest! Our trip was as a family of five with three small children (6, 4 & 2), so the lockable pool gates were absolutely a must for us. The pool area is wonderful, full sun all day, with plenty of sun-loungers and incredibly comfortable cushions. Candy's communication was amazing, she sent loads of information about the local area and things to do, and replied very quickly to questions. We didn't use the tram, as we hired a car, but would highly recommend the beaches in El Campello, beautiful sand, clean and plenty of sun-loungers/umbrellas to hire if needed. We absolutely made the right choice with this villa and hope to return one day!

Lovely located property. Tram nearby so able to travel easily up and down the coast. Its a very quiet neighbourhood with just a couple of restaurants 10 minute walk away. Everything you need for a relaxing pleasant stay is there.

The local restaurants cater for most tastes, ie the Italian “El Farol” and the Chinese “Singapore garden”, do exactly what it says on the tin! We do however have a few others too, still within 10 minutes walking distance, namely Cala Blanc and Travieso, both with widely eclectic menus; and our very own seafood restaurant, which sits right on Coveta Fuma beach. Note that the 3 main village square bars also serve bar snacks but wouldn’t be classed as restaurants. We note that you chose the heated pool option, and we were very happy to provide you with the swimming pool temperature being a steady 27–30°C for the duration of your stay. Terrific stay

From the exceptional hospitality of both David and Candy to David’s delightful, comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean villa, our stay was perfect. The views are stunning and the location ideal. The small village of Coveta Fuma has everything required (including a great beach) and the tram means car hire is not necessarily required. Without doubt, the best villa of the many we have rented!

Another lovely stay

We have arrived home from another great stay at Villa Carlanna. Very clean, well equipped villa. We love the area as it is perfect for our family holiday- offers some restaurants in close proximity, convenience shop and easy access to mainline transport for longer excursions, if no car. Villa with an amazing view

We had an amazing time at this wonderful villa. Superb villa, clean and tidy with amazing views and everything we needed and more. The pool was a good size and we had it heated which was needed as we went early April. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing holiday. We will be booking again in the near future.

Lovely Villa With Sea Views

The property is well equiped and maintained. It is located in a quiet residental area and has great sea views. It is in a good location with local pubs, restaurants and a shop within 10 mins walk. Strongly recommend hiring a car to explore the area. The property mamager (Candy) was very helpful and responsive. We had a great hoilday and would love to go back again.

Excellent second visit

This was our second stay in this lovely villa. Very spacious and well equipped with everything you need. Made good use of the pool as the weather was very hot. Very quiet and peaceful even though there are neighbours nearby. Easy access to bars,restaurants and a small but very well stocked supermarket. Great 10 days spent at superb family villa

My self and my family had a great holiday at this villa. The house is 10 minutes walk from the tram that took us to El Campello (for beach or shopping) and on into Alicante (for city buzz/harbour/beach) and even out to Benidorm (we were curious!!), so everything is within easy reach. The villa was also only 10 minutes walk from a plaza with numerous nice(ish) restaurants and watering holes. The house was very comfortable, with air conditioning allowing us to sleep in the heat, and the pool was also great to help us cool down. All in all, we had a great holiday, and would love to go back some day.

What a gem of a holiday villa. The location was perfect- a short stroll to a lovely little bay (bring a snorkle as it was full of little fish), restaurants and the tram (which goes all the way to Alicante and Benidorm). There is small supermarket in the village centre which was great for little top-up shops.The views from the villa are just stunning- the villa is in a quiet residential area so we had all the peace we needed. You are two houses from the shore, which meant I could hear the sea! Bliss.The pool was bigger than the pictures give it credit for, which the kids loved. There's plenty of shade on the veranda - perfect for the kids.Check-in was super easy and Candy (our property manager) arranged shopping for us so that we didn't need to rush out on our first day! The villa had everything we needed and the beds were super comfy. The air-cons meant cool nights!We spent 9 days there and had a car to explore the area! Altea with it's typical Spanish charm, the Caves in the mountains, jet skiing in Alicante and a day on the beach in El Campello. Overall we had a great stay. Thank you David for an amazing villa!

El Campello getaway

First impression was very good, nice clean property with plenty of room and lovely pool and garden with lovely flowers. It was very warm during our stay and the pool was used often. The property manager gave our party some very useful information concerning food orders. The nearest tram stops were just over 5 minutes walk from the villa and as we did not have a car hire it was used regularly. I have to say that the villa was very nice and well equipped and our party had a very enjoyable time there.

Perfect holiday in a nice house, but it would be nice if you could change the cushions in the sun chairs outside ass well as the dining chairs. They are very worn out.

Superb Management

The villa is spacious, clean and well equipped. The seaviews are even more outstanding than they appear on the website. The tram into El Campello is regular and easy to use. There are a few bars and restaurants well within walking distance (very friendly staff). We have to give special mention to Candy, the villa manager who went out of her way to help us obtain our covid lab results prior to flying home.

Beautiful Coastal Villa

We had an amazing and relaxing time at the Vila! The views from the balconies were stunning, we loved eating out there and chilling by the ( very warm )private pool! Communication with David was great from the outset and then latterly Candy. Candy kindly organised our airport transfers with a local taxi firm who were very reasonably priced. She also gave us info on things to do and see and of the Mercadonba App where you can order your groceries to be delivered which was a god send! We spent a lot of our time at a lovely clean local beach 10 minutes walk away. Would highly recommend staying here and we hope to come back soon!

Lovely villa, great location!

We had a lovely stay in Villa Carlanna. A really well equipped kitchen, plenty of shade options for outdoor areas, air con in the bedrooms is very efficient, pool area is very nice…they have thought of all of your potential needs, even down to a wheeled shopping bag for market days etc (you really should use it- everyone has one!). Check in and check out we’re very friendly and speedy- we were given lots of guidance and links for places to go and invaluable advice on where to spend time before our late flight home, couldn’t ask for more We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon!

Great villa

Very enjoyable stay Candy and David are awesome and will help you, in any way they can, also very quick in responding on questions. The villa is very nice in a quit area, for good night sleeps, the birds in the morning adds to a peacefull stay, the veranda is just great we spun a lot of time there. Bars and restaurants and some nice beaches not to far away. The pool was awesome with plenty of beds and chairs. Also a nice bbq place for nice evening meals. Beautiful Villa in a quiet residential area

We stayed for a week end of May 2022 myself and 5 friends. The villa Carlanna was beautiful. Fabulous pool and 3 spacious bedrooms with air conditioning. Candy the property manager was really attentive and gave us lots of information about the area and things to do around about. It would be better to hire a car if you want to see the sights and have days out. But we enjoyed restful days by the pool and taking the tram just 10 minutes walk away for days out to the many beautiful beaches and towns nearby. Lovely plaza close by with a selection of bars and restaurants and a beach with paddle boards, canoes and boat trips also 10 minutes away. Would highly recommend it and would love to come back.

July Holiday

We stayed for two weeks at the beginning July. On arrival we were met by Bonnie and shown around. It was extremely hot during our stay so the air conditioning in the bedrooms was much needed. The pool is a real gem with a lovely temperature and private. There are other villas very close by, but they don’t interfere with your views out to sea. Issues raised during our stay were quickly sorted out by Candy and Bonnie. It should be noted that whilst there are local bars not far away the walk to them is down/up quite a steep hill. The pool area would benefit from a second umbrella although there are other sheltered areas around the Villa.

Hi Jon, yes, summer in the Costa Blanca is wonderfully hot and sunny but sometimes we need some respite in the form of the aircon, a lovely temperature pool and some shady terraces to relax. We provide a pool-side parasol, which frequently requires to be replaced due to breakages. We can accept replacing one parasol at a time, but would rather not do 2. The quickest footpath/village road to the village square (6 or 7 minutes) is quite steep at one part, whereas the 10 or 12 minute walk with continual sea-view has much more gentle grades. Perfection.....

We were looking for somewhere that was perfect for an early summer getaway for my wife and I along with our elderly parents and two children. El Campello provided us with our perfect family holiday. The kids played in and around the pool most days while were at close hand relaxing on the veranda overlooking the ocean. We barbecued with the family most nights before taking a leisurely stroll to the local bars while our parents preferred the tranquil moments watching the sunset(babysitting!!!)poolside. The seven days flew in so next time we will need to stay a little longer. The olds might even take a longer extended winter break next year!! Thanks El campello!!!!!

Fantastic Villa, outstanding location

Having previously stayed here in Summer 2011 I had no hesitation in booking this for my winter vacation. The location is ideally suited for either a peaceful relaxing stay in a traditional Spanish setting with the beach close by or the local train can whisk you to bright lights of the resorts. short distances to the airports too. The weather was perfect in January,around 18-20c allowing my golf handicap to improve marginally . The villa itself was immaculate and extremely spacious with all the amenities you would expect at home. Many an evening was spent firing up a bbq and enjoying the still warm air. The village itself has a supermarket a few minutes walk away and the local square has a few restaurants and bars . I would recommend this villa to both families and couples, and look forward to coming back in 2013 >

I highly recommend!

A lovely villa with an absolutely incredible view directly to the sea! We spent a relaxing holiday by the pool barbecuing and admiring the view. The villa was well equipped and there was everything we needed and there was plenty of room for six people, although we spent a lot of our time outside sitting, laughing and playing. Alicante and Benidorm were easily accessible from the tram stop (Amerador), which was about a ten minutes’ walk away from the villa, and we visited both places during our one-week holiday. There was also a small grocery store (Supermercado Udaco) and a few restaurants nearby. We visited the grocery store every day to replenish our food stock and on the last night we ate at a nearby restaurant (Restaurant Cala Blanc) - the food was good and affordable! All in all, a wonderful holiday in a wonderful milieu!

Why they chose this property

The villa is very well situated, near to a small, but well stocked supermarket, the coastal tram line(so we don't always need to hire a car when we come out), the newly completed children’s play area, adjacent to the bars and restaurants, so they are always in sight, safely playing while we enjoy pre dinner drinks and the area is only serviced by minor, residential roads, so no traffic to worry about. Also, Coveta now has its own gym, for those that wish to keep up their fitness levels while away. Also, the beach tavernas found at the main, natural cove, do fantastic paellas and fresh, locally caught fish, so we really have found our Shangrila!

What makes this property unique

We chose to buy this holiday villa mainly because the accommodation was ideal for our expanding family, the pool is fenced and safe and being heated means we can enjoy the villa all year round(when not being enjoyed by our villa guests, of course) and whenever things get tough in UK, we can always visualize ourselves sitting on the verandah, with a glass of wine, watching the sunset, with not a care in the world. The villa has been registered with the Spanish Tourist Board.
